Supercars screwed up the VCAT Camaro was down on rear aero compared to wind tunnel and Ford said there was an imbalance but removed rear aero off Mustang and added to front of Camaro...

This whole year was a joke.
Let's hope next year is a level playing field.
Hopefully the days of one team or manufacturer calling the shots are over

Unfortunately mate when you have a part owner of supercars a guy that bleeds GM and also Roland Dane in the back ground manipulating things ( because dont ever under estimate his influence & power ) this championship will always remain GM biased, always has been and always will be. look at when the mustang rolled out and COG issue became apparent Roland dane had the mustangs penalised by the next round, yet lets look at this year, Supercars even knew the mustangs didnt have the same rear downforce but nothing changed but RD's team were coming out saying ford teams need to do a better job. And this is coming from a guy thats owns several SS commodores.... i just want good fair racing

@@Steve-jo3cl - spot on with your understanding of the real situation... for decades 888 / roland dane, could never be trusted and should never be trusted. dirty drivers and dirty tactics...

      I'm hearing ya.
Have followed this sport since 1975.
      Always followed ford.
      Can remember 3 fords v 22 Holden's.
      The au era.
Marcus ambrose came along and finally turned the odds.
      Will always follow fords.
Let's hope next year is a fair playing field.

@@paulholubecki6386 im hearing ya as well, its always been a uphill battle for the Ford guys, but i tell ya if its a camaro championship again i wont be following anymore, im starting to get fed up with a lot of things, every bloody event all u hear is that dumb blonde ask MS and NC the same shit, whats its going to take to win today ? Its time for the broom to go through the broadcast cast team, with only GT, and Larko to remain, sick of them catering to the casual or new watcher instead of lookiing after the exsisting fan base...

I hoped this parity chit would be over after the wind Tunnel tests in the US. Do we really have to hear it all year again in 2024.

Jeez, I hope this kind of conversation doesn't occur again this year. Ben presents well but it seems he was out of his depth early on with all the new faces at DJR with getting it sorted quickly.

Been saying it for years, the minute tou start going to control components you take away a teams ability to engineer its way out of a performance disparity, whehther it be chassis, engine or other. It started in cotf, and now this dumpster fire of a car/s. On top of that the anything control just ends up being more expensive with the monopoly market of control parts

Supercars screwed up............... they were so far off parity it was a joke.

top 5 drivers from GM and FORD teams should swap cars every three rounds to test /check / confirm "real" "PARITY". If they are supposed to be the same car in every aspect then there will be NO issue in this situation...

@@Nic_B - they will have the drive the opposite car to win, otherwise the slower car gets the performance updates. they cannot afford to drive the opposite car and not try to win. !!

Ford can’t be bothered to make the 3star ANCAP rated Mustang safer for Australian owners so why would people think they could put effort into making a competitive race car here down under they don’t care

  • @robstanfield4338

Does Supercars really want Ford competitive and winning? They seem to only want the Mustangs to make up the numbers in a race, certainly none on the podium. This pro Holden/GM thinking has persisted in touring cars/supercars since the early seventies with biased rules and regulations.
