Amazing video capture! Glad I was there for this show. Fastest breaks between bands - I think Anselmo-to-Ministry took only 8 minutes! Every band did a selfie, too, which I've never seen before. Tom was really taking it in at the end. Very appreciative of his fans.
Another band that deserves to be in the RRHOF. Longevity, influence and impact. They forever changed the face of heavy metal and have been doing so for 4 decades!
I have an extra ticket if you are talking about the Vegas show. I'm coming from Utah if that helps any... I know it's only like four days away but I gotta offer we are family! In fact I bet you're cooler than my real and I don't even know you
Everybody should be thanking and praising Rick Rubin for help making those albums come out and sounding the way they did.He was the fifth member of the band in helping to bring those early albums to fruition.
This video was hard to watch man. I'm actually glad they are packing it in. I'll miss the Hanneman/Lombardo version of the band for sure. I love Gary but Paul is just not pulling these songs off at all. He was so good with Testament too.
I honestly think Slayer will come back after taking maybe two years off from touring and doing a few shows in the USA and maybe Canada but if not thank you Slayer for all the great music
Half a cover band - the Tom & Kerry cash grab show. Slayer died with Jeff and respect was lost for screwing over Dave. Those two were the heart, the engine of Slayer. Some find it honorable to die with a sinking ship. I don't. Paul was great on Divine (last good album IMO) but could never hold a candle to Dave in live performances. Gary is great in Exodus but sounds nothing like Jeff when playing Slayer. Doesn't fit. I would happily pay $3k to see Slayer back in 86-88 but wouldn't go for free today without those two. "To move forward without Jeff just wouldn't be the same. Especially when you consider how much he contributed to the band musically. And you can have someone sit in for him, but there's no one on this planet that can do what Jeff did. There's no replacing him." - Tom Araya
I totally agree! I saw them in the netherlands '88 for the first time when i was only 16 , they never sounded the same after Jeff (RIH) died en Dave left, they were the best !!!
I think they should pay Dave some money from the retirement. Tour he was a big part of slayer he deserve it. It sucks he didnt play with them at all they should have Dave play the final. show. Out of respect
If they ever were to be inducted in the rock and roll hall of fame they will need to bring Dave Lombardo cause he's the one that was a beast on the drums. I also thank John for filling out some big shoes on the drums, but there will never ever be a drummer like Dave and I don't care what anybody has to say. Slayer was always Tom,JEFF,KERRY AND DAVE the God father of the double bass.
As much as I love Slayer, gotta say this particular show did not sound very good at all. guitars and drums both sounded off the entire show not to mention they just came across very tired. I am not slamming them just stating a fact. I have seen them 3x on this tour and this one just wasnt nearly as good as the others were. case in point, Kerry screwing up the intro to when the stillness comes. The ones who were saying this show was great have either seen them for the first time or were enebriated.
I was here, last time I seen Slayer was in 99. It was really hard at the end seeing Tom stand there and Slayer isn’t even one of my top passionate bands so I can only image how it must feel for you hardcore fans.
FUCKING SLAYER!!!!! you know its really sad when i hear any other music other than SLAYER. VEGAS time motherfuckers.I cant wait to pick up one of those Dean KKVs. That guitar looks sick as fuck. SLAYER IS THE BEST BAND EVER.
I just seen some footage of this show and i dont think kerry king is liking his new guitar cause its not like his b.c.rich maybe the action is set up wrong i d k but you can tell he wasnt happy if that would had been me on stage and i fucked up on my own intro like that i would had threw the guitar down and picked up my b.c.rich speed v
Every day I'm glad I was there
I was there!!.... thanks slayer, primus, ministry and ilegals🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

And I am proud to say I was there to witness this magical moment in time... Thank you Slayer, thank you Tom!!!

Drove down from Ottawa for this one. Great show. Primus was awesome too!
Another band that deserves to be in the RRHOF. Longevity, influence and impact. They forever changed the face of heavy metal and have been doing so for 4 decades!
So thankful that I was there. We missed you Dave.
Why are people even disliking this video. Its their last show ever man..show some love and respect :/
I know right ✅️ 😩 people are just trash 🗑 by the way slayer is coming back in less than 3 years
Slayer appreciates their fans, always have. SLAYER!!!!!!!!!!
Seen them in 90,91 and a few times after that... Lombardo and Heineman (RIP) we're still there. Those were the days
Lombardo dead?
Angelo Giorgio No, Hieneman is
No Lombardo, no Slayer
@@bongeggs Damn skippy

An amazing show. The last concert I attended before Covid.
Thanks for grabbing that video !! Awesome.
Thank you for the beautiful music.
Dude great quality! Looks and sounds great man 🤘
So blessed to have been there
I was going to see slayer in their 2nd to last concert but I’m out of budget. Rest In Peace Slayer! The end is near.
I have an extra ticket if you are talking about the Vegas show. I'm coming from Utah if that helps any... I know it's only like four days away but I gotta offer we are family! In fact I bet you're cooler than my real and I don't even know you
I have an extra ticket to the show on the 29th in LA if that's the one you're talking about. I can't go. Message me. It's yours
Oh My Slayyyeeerrr 😭
Everybody should be thanking and praising Rick Rubin for help making those albums come out and sounding the way they did.He was the fifth member of the band in helping to bring those early albums to fruition.
Eddie Muniz I was more than happy with hell awaits
I love slayer but I wish Dave was still with them

Jason Kirkland it’s just not Slayer without Dave.
Yeah those drums sound pathetic af. The double bass is absolutely cringe worthy.
Illud Divinus I cant help but laugh at the posts talking about how great this is 😂
I was lucky to be at this show. Always missing Dave. Nobody like him.
I was there! Phenomenal show🤘🤘🤘
Legends. Love em! ..Slayer family world wide xxx
They seem quite bored. It's good to end the journey at this point.
Who ever thumb down dosent like real thrash metal at its best. It gets no better then this. The greatest metalband ever slayer
Tom looks and sounds pretty healthy...good to see..keep slayin em boys!!
👑
The audio is getting bad on these phones lately! But still love it man!
Grande Tom! Y es CHILENO 🤘🤘🤘
I apologize for saying this, but man that’s some sloppy drumming. And Kerry is not loving his new guitar, cause he plays like a 14 year old.
Lmaooooo
I honestly think Slayer will come back after taking maybe two years off from touring and doing a few shows in the USA and maybe Canada but if not thank you Slayer for all the great music
Considering what Motley Crue just did, its inevitable. It draws huge demand and helps sells tickets. They will definitely be back.
Yeah baby
I was blown away last night. South, Angel, Seasons and Rain were the highlights. Such a badass show. Happy I was present.
I was there!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻 Slayer!!
Same it was so awesome I missed Phil Anselmo though

Kerry Has his dean signature. Neat
The Dean from South of Heaven

I seen he messed up with dean at the show
I bought a copy of Reign in Blood in Tel Aviv. 😇

I think they should pay Dave some money from the retirement. Tour he was a big part of slayer he deserve it. It sucks he didnt play with them at all they should have Dave play the final. show. Out of respect

Is it just me or does this sound alot more slower than usual ?
It's just you.
I was there! Fucking awesome night.

Fuck this is so emotional
I was there. Hoardes of fanatics going berserk.
What's that clicking noise??
Bass drum
Ouch!!! Kerry did not look happy...on a good point.... That sounded fucking great!!!!
God damn how the hell did they not call up gene hoglan after Dave left
FUCKING SLAYER!!!!! you know its really sad when i hear any other music other than SLAYER. VEGAS time motherfuckers.I cant wait to pick up one of those Dean KKVs. That guitar looks sick as fuck. SLAYER IS THE BEST BAND EVER.
Some fast down stroking...how day do day?! 🤘
👊
Enh...Sounds like a Slayer cover band
That was some of the weakest double bass I've ever heard. Dave went on forever it seemed in his breakdown and this guy could barely manage 3 seconds.
There best show I was there. Who’s the real ones that was in the train car for Thomas’s birthday 🤘🏼
Hell’s soundtrack
I just seen some footage of this show and i dont think kerry king is liking his new guitar cause its not like his b.c.rich maybe the action is set up wrong i d k but you can tell he wasnt happy if that would had been me on stage and i fucked up on my own intro like that i would had threw the guitar down and picked up my b.c.rich speed v
Guitars don't play songs wrong. Lol.
@@that417 no but kerry knows bc rich like the back of his hands the dean is like trying to find a sweet spot on a new girl to him
Million dollar phones with 6 cameras yet the sound is still fucking trash
Lot better than the scranton show crowd sucked lazy boring
Poop
playing terrible , sounding terrible
Beer and dank make it sound better.
Definitely, and their solos sounds like the same
Thought they sounded great, the solos were not great, but it is Slayer, not know as great soloist
Heavymetalisgay someone missed the show 🤔
Who's gonna watch post 1990 slayer ?
