Today is my last day at home before my mom and I embark on our 13 hour drive to Ohio to see one of my cardiac specialists. It’s gonna be a very long and exhausting week of driving and sight seeing and hopefully getting a better plan in place. Nervous belly is sorta stirring up already. I’m just trying to not overthink it and just get there, do the appointment, and get on with life.
I'm pretty late with this comment, but I started to catch up with your life recently! I just wanted to say that I'm watching you whenever I feel down and depressed (and unfortunately, it happens often). Your joy, your strive to move forward literally keep me going. I learned a lot just from watching your vlogs, not only mental-wise, but also health and medical-wise! Thank you for sharing your story with us!

Happy birthday!! I definitely think you should plan a do-over birthday after IVs. Plan something fun for when your body has recovered from the IV stuff! My dog was sprayed by a skunk once...he was a short haired dog but it was still a hot stinky mess. Even with all the recipes for removing skunk stench, it took a LONG time for the smell to dissipate. It was delightful.
First off, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARY!!! So I'm a groomer... And I watch a lot of your videos while I'm working. It was hilarious to watch the shihtzu I'm working on hunt for the toy! She had a lot of fun! ❤️ Also, I wanted to say thank you guys so much. I've been gaining allergies like crazy. Went from none to not being sure how to feed myself. It's all so new and stressful, and I can't get in for more allergy testing until September 10. Keeping up with you guys helps remind me I'm not alone in health struggles. Even if they are completely different, I'm not alone. And you are able to smile. Every video reminds me to keep on keepin' on. I look forward to the videos every day. Thank you! (Also, gonna wear that new shirt to my appointment in September. Need that extra umph!)
This video was perfect timing. My mental health got good enough for me to get my first job and now I’m very overwhelmed and my mental health is declining. Now I realize I just have to adjust my expectations!
I know you are probably not going to see this because I'm sure you get a ton of comments and you have a life!! :) :) But I thought I'd say something anyway!! Thank you for having this channel!! I have no idea why it came up in my suggested video list but it did and I'm so glad it did and I subscribed after that!! I'm saying that because even though we have different illnesses I understand what you are going through!! I have CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) and multiple back problems! I know you've probably never heard of CRPS because either had I until I got diagnosed with it!! I won't go into super details but I have pain everywhere 24/7. I am concerned full body CRPS. It comes with lots of other symptoms/issues as well that aren't easy to deal with! I even just recently went through IVIG like I heard you mention in a video! For a different reason obviously but I found it interesting you were doing it too. I pray it works for you because sadly it made me worse!! Anyway, I'm not really sure where I'm going with this but just know it is an encouragement for me to see another young couple trying to make it through life with an illness! In many ways my husband is going through this with me just like yours is with you because they live with us and see everything! We can't keep anything from them! If it weren't for my husband, family, and a few friends plus more importantly my relationship with God I would be ending up just like a lot of people on my support group have. The only thing I will say about that is my diseases nickname is "The Suicide Disease". Maybe this sounds stupid but thank you for the encouragement! I will be praying for you and your husband as you continue to deal with your CF!! I will also be praying for your doctor's as well!!

I'm in hospital currently on a drip too. For some reason I keep ending up with infections they can't pin point. But they can tell by bloods and other tests. So I've been on antibiotics and fluids. But this is the 3rd or so time in a year. I wish you health as best as can be and happiness. When I first started watching your videos I was confused the first few that I watched. But after watching a bunch of your videos. You inspire me daily
I finally made it to clinicals for Medical Assistant this fall. I start next week. I'm excited but I know the work load will be overwhelming but I can do this.
My cat will sometimes pee are our clean laundry. I really enjoyed this vlog. I’m starting school tomorrow and it’s been rough with some of the girls in my class. This video gave me the strength to get through this school year with them

I had to do 2 weeks of Imipenem for a ESBL bacterial infection/Sepsis and it gave me headaches as well - I didn't have the nausea but I definitely had an upset stomach like you 😳 HOPE YOU HAVE THE BEST BIRTHDAY YOU CAN POSSIBLY HAVE!

I want sure where to put this, but i have a quick question for you. I am battling 2 chronic illnesses and they both make it hard to sleep. I have been on seroquel for years now, but i know it is hard on my body. You are one of several people that mix melatonin and benadryl. I want to ask what dosage of melatonin you use and does your doctor perscribe them? I know it might not work for me, but it's worth a shot. Your positivity helps me so very much. It has changed how i look at life. Thank you both for bringing light to my life every day
Living in Connecticut my sister had an apricot miniature poodle. Looks a lot like Ollie just much smaller. Pierre found a skunk under our porch and got sprayed. Clipped and dipped in tomato juice several times, we had a stinky pink poodle for a month. Every time he got wet he still smelled like a skunk for the longest time and the tomato juice is a great temporary hair dye.
