I am not LAO person....but what you advocated to the world about Lao people are second shorten people in the world...." YOU ARE 100% WRONG ". Generally , they are not short, short BUT only some tribal people like: KARMU and MONG people...these people used to live up high , on top of the hills and we called them the hill-tribes people. These group of tribal people used to live in a subsistence economy. Eg: Most of these people are short because their foods were lacking of nutrients ..foods they eat are lacking of calcium and vitamin . 49 years now since Lao has changed to SOCIALIST Government ...these tribal people have moved to the provincial cities and the new tribal generations were born and become NEW LAO in the low land and occupied the cities and the Capital of Laos. All the average tall Lao people ( 160 to 175 or 180 tall ) had fled the Lao communist Government to 3rd world countries eg: America , Europe and Australia. That is why , now all the hill tribes people taking over in most sector of the Govt. I wish you have taken a good research or do your homework properly before you announced on your you tube channel.....this i think it's very dodgy , and NO respect to yourself.
Laos is moving in the right directions. China has given Laos opportunity and future. But the U.S had 55+ years has done nothing other than keeping out of Laos or stay quite. Also Chinese do not colonized other countries. They adapt and transition to the host country and people. By this creating the new Laotian populations. The Lao people aren't any difference to the Chinese as we are brother and sisters for many millennia. *

Tbh i love laos its beautiful and the culture is wonderful. To me laos and thai are just brothers like Britan is to America.
Gee😮 by the 11:00 mark i couldn't listen anymore cus of that damn organ music. Try editing next time
The images of sticky rice are wrong - you get in in your hands
😂no way
Music too loud
Short?!? lol I’m 6” I guess I’m one of the lucky ones 😅😅
Sticky rice and Padek are two # 1 dish in Laos.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
As usual wrong info, these AI destroys the world
laos and cambodia was once co-joined NVA & Vietcongs during nam war era. Most of casualty are at DMZ zones from macvsog now declassified.
I am not LAO person....but what you advocated to the world about Lao people are second
shorten people in the world...." YOU ARE 100% WRONG ".
Generally , they are not short, short BUT only some tribal people like:
KARMU and MONG people...these people used to live up high , on top of the hills and we called them the hill-tribes people.
You are wrong. I live in LAOS and most of them are really short. I am 5'5 but when I arrived here last year until now I feel like I am 6 footer.
Interesting video but spoilt by the way too loud and irrelevant, irritating background music 😢
Too much back ground music
The background music is very disturbing
what a pity the sound track drowns out the naration.
The music is gawd awful otherwise this is a great, informative video.
Yes Laos culture and nature is fascinating but more and more falling under Chinese colonialism😢
It' is not a colonialism as you want people to believe, it is a win-win cooperation!
@@bounkhamtheuambounmy2082win win... bullshit😂
At least Chinese don't dropped bomb or spray the agent orange on us and we happy for them for helping us to built our country.
@@bounkhamtheuambounmy2082 how is it win-win when they need to give China the 100 years concession on many things

You do NOT pronounce the 's' in Laos. "The Lao in Laos speak Lao" .. only say Lao.
Yes .. the music is way too loud
Laotians is pronounce "Lao tions" and NOT "Lay O Tions"
Laolao is unregulated so be careful as the real strength is often unknown.
It’s called Lao
You don’t pronounce the “S” 😂
Lao is amazing country, however the only thing that was shocking in you video was your reference photos and videos which in the main were pretty much wrong. Referencing India for Lao elephants, jasmine rice for sticky rice etc, etc, etc

No mention of the Tai Dom people of Laos?
You mean the Thaï Dam = Black Thaï ?
She means Tai Dom ໄຕດໍາ, Black Tai
@@Joe-kq1sgTai Dum= Black Tai
There is more Hmong than Tai Dam
I really love Laos and I was amazed why Laos people have similar face with our Myanmar people. When a westerner see a Laotian , he cannot know whether Laos or Burmese or Cambodian. But Thai face is little different from Laos and Burmese. 🇲🇲❤🇱🇦
Laos does not seem to be a "hard-core" communist country.
Laos is a regular country. Many American and European expats live there especially Luang Prabang.
🇱🇦🇱🇦🇱🇦❤️❤️❤️
8:13 &8:38 my dad said he used to go skinny dipping everywhere. Like I didn't really need to know all that but that's pretty. 9:29 looks like death to me tho

Its not pronounced louse its lao like how. 2:49
sticky rice is extremly high in carbs. 80% so people with (pre)diabetes or insuline resistance should stay far away from this "food".
Lose the annoying soundtrack & repost.
Americans always leave nothing but chaos behind over and over again
Not chaos, but poverty, death, destruction, unexploded bombs, birth abnormalities, and sanctions.
The world's most evil humans reside in the US.

Worst to used wrong pictures...
I would like to try Laotian coffee!
Laos Laos Mao!!!
That’s not true I’m from Laos my height is 5’11
They are not saying all, they say most
The “s” in Laos is actually silent.
Sorry but the Country and people are called "Lao".
Lao people are called Lao, but not everyone from Laos is from Lao ethnic group - it’s just the biggest ethnic group. E.g. Hmong people are not Lao
People are called Laotian which includes the ethnic minorities as well. But everyday spoken they will just use the term "Khon Lao" as Lao people.
@@PeterWallis-mh9qgThe people are called Laotian. The language is called Lao. The country is called Laos 😂😂😂. That's English.
@Jesus42O Funny. You donks believe that Americans are white people only?😂😂😂
I call myself Laotian 😊
So AI written
Southeast asian countries serve coffee in plastic bag. Singapore too.
Wages very low..so please tip high...PLEASE
You may pronounce it LOWSE in the USA, but Laotians (and everybody else who has actually been there), call it LAO. Since most of this video is actually of other countries, I think it is safe to assume you have never been there, and are just stringing together some 'facts' you have found on the internet, probably just Wikipedia.
Background music is horrible. Makes it difficult to complete the video. Thanks
At we can see what ever the US leaders went or are there is hell for the other.
Shocking things???
Nikita Cliffs
Do they execute people for smoking pot in Laos?
They are communist and poor so mostly outcome would be authorities try to earn money from you instead.
Never heard of that ... This is not a Muslim country. You could end up in jail, or pay a hefty fine under the table, but that's it.
In the old days you would pay a fine if arrested by the police. These days you can grow 6 plants for your own use but cant sell it.
@@chrisperkins7331 Where is your support proof? Weed is illegal in Laos as far as i know. Are You talking about Thailand ?
@@djnor1979 As you said" as far as I know", which I am guessing is from a distance. Anyone who truly understands Lao and its law will tell you tell that the local police interpret the government laws, as they see fit. So in Vang Vieng for example the standard fine was $500 if found with just a joint. However out in the villages the police are far less interested as there are few foreigners with money to extract. so I can assure you where I have lived for the last decade, the police don't care, and have told me I can grow my own just don't try to sell it.
woah woah woah im not short lol im only 5'6 and my brothers are 5'10 and highter and my sisters are are same height as me lol i mean my mom is 4'9 and my dad is 5'2 so i guess there short haha

its pronounced loaw same as cow the s is silent
@All about countries Dude, you need to stop posting bombastic captions just for click bait. There is nothing really shocking about Laos, other than a million unexploded American bombs. Everything else is just some unique cultural aspects.
Don’t need shocking things just go to pattaya don’t waste time
