some silly comments on here.... she was dethroned, not because of her attitude, but because she wasn't interested in dealing with some of the behind-the-scenes politics of these pageants ... Jeyla is a very strong-minded woman - a supermodel who has also been involved in business and the Bosnian political scene over the years..... her attitude and personality is great, but she is also known as someone who doesn't care to deal with a lot of nonsense and b.s. in general... she is not your typical pageant girl.... during this pageant, she was probably doing her own thing and not getting into clicks with these girls.... one also has to understand that she is Islamic, and her country of Bosnia was in a brutal war in Europe just a few years before this competition..... and unfortunately some of those political things play a role in the way competitors and representatives of countries treat each other in these international pageants, and in things like the Olympic Games........... there are often different layers of things going on behind the scenes that many people watching may not necessarily be aware of.... it's dumb to simply assume 'they probably don't like her attitude'.... it's a pageant....there's jealousy....there's politics...... there are at times creepy executives and men running these pageants who try to use their power and influence to try and hook up with these women ...... .Jeyla is the type that would throw the crown in their face and tell them to go fuck themselves ...... it has nothing to do with her at all ..... I'm not sure where the rest of these ladies are at the moment, but Jayla is currently one of the most sophisticated Supermodels and brand ambassadors in the world.... and better looking today than even here when she won the Miss Earth title

Mexico also spilled the tea. Ms. BH was caught by one of the delegates to be memorizing the final Q&A. The issue here has nothing to do w/ the genocide. Internationally perceived, the Serbians were the bad guys and the Bosnians were the victims so why would this be the reason for soliciting such a reaction. The delegates believed the pageant was rigged and this is not the only controversy in all of Ms. Earth history.

Ah yes, Miss Earth 2002... the year when most of the contestants did not like the result of Bosnia & Herzegovina winning because it was consensus among most of them that she was not a very nice person. The exodus of the stage said it all: and the faces of many of the contestants were not pleased. Most were outraged, a few maintained composure and applauded but eventually went with the herd.
