Honestly I love the feeling of coming home after a 5 hour track meet, and just being thankful that your home and you can play video games. And then looking back at your race and being like hey, that was pretty good
Great race Kalen! I was impressed with the race because young US talent is always great fun. But, I also enjoyed your evaluation of your race. I could see how subtle the action about which you were talking. I am sure you will improve drastically because of your own critiques. We're pulling for you. Blessings always!
you are a big inspo i enjoy watching these vids and understanding the thought process and what goes on after the meets rather than gatekeeping and helping others as well as yourself so thanks
Well done. Lord willing everything comes together, and I think you'll break 10 seconds. Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Hey Kalen, I notice in a lot of your videos you mention adductor issues. I currently am dealing with that on my left hip and it is really hindering me. I was wondering if there are any specific exercise/stretches you perform to prevent issue with your adductors.
I think your last 40m aren't as good because your first 40 are so good. Maybe working on speedendurance 80-150 help. BUT it probably makes your acceleration worse. I think it's more like in wich part of the race do we invest our energy in. There aren't many sprinters who mastered acceleration, top speed and maintenance. It seems like everyone has to pull back somewhere. We must find a way/strategy to not suck in any part of a race. Aka working on the weakness without losing the strength.
I was thinking the same thing. However you can still train with intensity (40m sprint) and also do speed endurance training (150m+). But yeah keep your superpower the main thing. This is all bro science tho lol his coach will get him right

Phenomenal speed! Great job on your new 100m PR.
This is just the beginning. Keep up the great work champ.
You was flyin bro, great start and acceleration phase 💨
Terrific presentation! Jason pulled all the stops out and laid it all out...the connections are stunning!
Adducter isometrics where you put two fist between your legs and squeeze and sit in a chair for around 40 seconds has helped me warmup my adductors.
I think I was visiting the campus when this meet was happening. If I knew this man was there I would’ve stayed🔥🔥🔥
It’s nice to see your progression with these vids. Indoor now outdoor.
You'll figure it out...repetition breeds excellence - Congratulations on the PR!
