I had been a Christian for 5 months.. when you were in Skegness playing in the Gaiety Theatre (during the seminars called "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Bible" by Ian Garrett from JPC in Newcastle).. there were more people on the stage than in the seats.. your wife ran up and down with a flag .. I'd never seen anything like it.. I had just become a Christian and thought all Christian music was like yours. God Bless you Martin. I've been back stage helping out a dozen times and nearly gone over to tell you. What a difference Jesus in you made in my life.

I've never met Martin. But I was there in the Gaiety Theatre in 1992 in Skegness when he played with the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Bible. I had been a Christian 7 months. I am now 43. I've helped do the lights back stage at his event in Stavanger, Norway. I worked at YFC and sat behind him Martin in Bradford as he sat with his wife. God is so good. I then found out he was a Brethren (so was I) and then I found out 6 months ago he wrote this song. It was my favourite for years.
