Ooooh that's a good point. Reid was def one of the best but maybe because he played more in GPs, PTs, and World's than SCG Opens and such? But as far as best players, yeah Reid is easier at the top of the list.
Reid made a name for himself away from the Open series, even though he played in a lot. Guys like Joe, Todd, Brad, Tom, Ross, Jim and even to a lesser extent Hoogland were more of SCG specific people.
@@Lashazior you could say the same for Gerry and Brad, like they dont exclusively played on the SCG scene, and had great careers on the pro tour and gps
Reid did not play that many SCG events, tho his conversion rate was off the charts (at one point he had a streak of 5 invitationals where he made 1 top16, 2 top8s and 2 finals)
I feel like Greg Hatch is an honorable mention for that iconic camera match with his Martyr of Frost deck. I rewatch it every few months
let's be real, the goat of the scg tour is the cedric + psulli coverage
Duh
There’s so many worthy of being named. I was always a Gerard Fabiano fan.
Don’t care who the other 3 are but THE BOSS gotta be on there
anyone else completely floor when they first heard his voice? It was like that voice was not what I expected.
@@mattm7798 he's got that deep southern drawl
@@TandyMTG Right!
so is scg tour coverage coming back? cant find this announcement anywhere
neither can i
Y’all should do this as a full pod with stats
There's this one guy you might have heard of Named Brian...Brian C i believe I think he won a few invitationals.
Is Reid Duke not even in the discussion? why?

Hatch 😎
Don't care about record, I'm here for the vibes.
I think it must be a sin that even if you're at the top your craft, you never say that you belong on that craft's Mount Rushmore.
Actions speak louder anyway. The numbers show the truth, and those who know better know who belongs in the spot.
I wouldnt assume Jim saying stuff like that seriously
@@korul4 Agreed. He seems to have diarrhea of the mouth. I think he needs to think before talking

Tom Ross the Boss!
Caleb Duward?
2nd for Joe Lossett.
I like Jim but yeah, he is not in the top 4. Probably not top 8. How many open wins did he have?
❤ Engagement!
Unsolicited opinion -- maybe these can/should be cut for shorts? Yt seems to recommend them more broadly.
