Thank you so much Jon for making that awesome Deftones song that turns into Sum 41?! Ha I love it! 😄
Thanks! :)
With a little Foo Fighters in the intro..
Great sounding drum!
That mix sounded fantastic!
That Phoenix is such a badass guitar.
just bought it at half the price, needless to say how much i'm happy, it's sounds amazing
Got Dwell today and subscribed here! Top jobs💥🤠🚀
This is my favorite song you've written. Please do these more?
Thank you for putting this together, I recently started using their free version and its a brilliant bit of kit, they just pop straight through mixes with not a great deal of processing, the overhead and room settings sound good to me out the box and are nicely tweakable. I will definitely pick this up. I hadnt looked at pricing and it's insane they're all like 40 euros not sure what that translates to here in the uk. All the best mate
I mean crazy prices in a good way btw haha!
Great i have bought just now... #Tillnow \m/
🔥
Sounds good, dawg. KloTz DI used I see. Wonder what reamp device was in the chain.
I want all these seperate eq’s/mixes in a JS or SDS patch 😂
Hi Jon, maybe you should showcase also some stuff about bass amps and cabs? I'm a guitarist but I can tell that the bass is even more important for the overall sound in the mix. It can either ruin or make the entire track. Do you use amp sims or pedals/processors for recording bass?
Amp sims and some post processing! Maybe I'll do a video on it
@@SonicDriveStudio That would be awesome! I've been trying several options for recording bass: combining DI with a amp sim and IRs, a preamp (the one I use at the moment: SansAmp RBI) and a DI combined. The last thing I would like to try is a real bass amp like some Hartke or Ampeg, but I'm not sure about the reactive load since the bass amps are higher impedance.
Any way you can do best affordable Amps or guitars? 🙏
Hello Jon,
great video, as always and great Drums! And a good alternative to the „Standard“, if you want it to be quick and sound good.I noticed something in the part where you show the processing.
If you process the individual instruments separately in Cubase via multichannel as shown here, the stereo out is retained despite everything. I don't think you can deactivate it in ML Drums. In your setup, you call this ML Drums 01. If the entire set is active, i.e. no mutes are activated, the stereo out is also active. This means that both the processed and the sum are present. Is that intentional? I always mute the stereo out, as I only want to hear the processed signal....What does that look like for you?
It's always muted on my setup
@@SonicDriveStudio Thank you very much for your answer. I already thought so...😁
They sound fine. Still thing Josh Middleton, Ultimate Heavy drums sound better.
nobody is touching those drums, they are awesome
No rimshots or other articulations, I'll pass.
