Just to inform you this is only up to the Dressrosa arc for Zoro just imagine what how this fight if it was updated for both characters, & as a fun fact that Erza in the English dub is voiced by Colleen Clickenbeard who also voices Monkey D Luffy (Zoro is voiced by Christopher Sabat)
Gohan and Piccolo (and Vegeta… and Yamcha…etc)
Erza artificial eye is a magical eye so it doesn't hinder her sight
it's important to keep in mind that They're scaling a version of Zoro who didn't even try, Which means Zoro was much stronger than all the feats they put up for him, he just wasn't pushed to go extreme on a fight
Current Zoro is like at least 10X stronger tho😂
Erza's gotten significantly stronger since this was made too so i'd love to see a rematch

@@Stunt877That's false. Every swordswoman Erza has faced has destroyed all her armour in the battle with less force than Zoro can dish out, and she always resorts to the clear heart clothing which won't help her against Zoro.

Thing is, the details on both of these characters for this are outdated too. Though the Fairy Tail anime ended I think before the Death Battle, the manga has continued. And doubt I need say that Zoro's also gotten stronger since then.
This one needs an update although personally I believe the outcome will be the same
Erza couldn't even compete with Dressrosa Zoro. suggesting a fight between her and Wano Zoro is an actual joke

I'll say this for death battle, you keep stressing she hand to hand but don't show it. That piss me off, it doesn't matter if it zoro or not. When you don't show a fighter capability you are limiting that fighter.
You do have to know Erza's artificial eye is magic so she doesn't have any loss of vision, and Zoro with his observation haki actually has more field awareness then just having two normal eyes

@suicidaltaco9981 The movie had pre awakened Lucci and crocodile comparable to luffy. The movie also had pre wano a luffy beat, someone as strong as Rayleigh. The horn in onigasima being bigger than the metor is debatable. Also, cutting kaido is a haki feat, not a strength feat

Back when this was made, Death Battle had really bad research. Nowadays, I find their research to be better but they used to throw out most of the best feats for everyone they used
They did Erza dirty by how they downplayed her
Still would change the result, it to mention that they did the same to Zoro at the time. And the result is till right to this day.

@Lance-wn9dc Maybe in terms of pure swordsmanship, but as far as power goes, she outscales him. Human for Selene was large planetary (minimum), and she was beaten by Suzaku. Erza fought and beat Misaki, a dark dragon knight. The dark dragon knights are Kirin, Misaki, Suzaku, and Haku. The dark dragon knights are said to be similar in strength, with Kirin being the strongest. This means each dragon knight is large planetary (minimum), so erza being able to beat the second strongest would be minimum large planetary. Last I checked, Zoro was Multi Continental.
Fyi Selene made the moon as big as the planet effortlessly and affected earth land from a separate dimension just by getting angry

@unCancelabIe Zoro is my favorite anime character, but Fairy tail can be scaled to universal possible multiversal whereas One Piece caps at Planetary. Erza is easily faster and stronger then Zoro. Start if series Erza was already mountain level and she has gotten thousands of times stronger. I'd even argue that current Erza shown in the death battle should've won.

Even Zoros greatest feats don't scale up to the level that fairy tail does. Guildarts was capable of destroying a mountain with ease at the earlier stage of his intro but was only a bit stronger than Bluenote Stinger, a powerful user of gravity magic. A much stronger version of the Natsu who oneshot Bluenote and an equally powerful Gray was stopped by an injured Erza with her bare hands.
