    I got my Hoss last August, kept it stock just replacing things as they broke. just got this kit installed plus the gtr shocks, absolutely awesome! I also got the sway bar kit but the rear is not compatible. I did get the front on though. hopefully they will come out with a swat bay kit to match. Thanks for the video

    This is awesome, I'm just now seeing this 3 weeks late, definitely on the to get list, plus really digging the color combos

    Have a rustler 4x4 vxl and broke something almost every time I took it out this solves all the week points, I've turned my Rustler into a mini sledge with this the sledgehammer tires and the center differential. Controlled wheelies on demand, super tuff and bashes great.

      How easily do the stub axles break? I’m trying to decide if I should get them or the $80 steel ones

      @falcondragonslayer have not broke a piece since I put the heavy duty kit on, stop axles are great

    Throttle control, smooth progressive steering, always attempt smooth landings, but im an adult. I've had the Hoss for 1 year +, bought the HD kit and its still in a box waiting for the first failure. IMO some people seems purposely try to break their RC.

    It's a great kit, I'm a Traxxas fan I believe they have some of the toughest R/C truck and cara on the market, no talking bad about any other R/C's personally just a fan of Traxxas.

    Is there an update on this? I’m trying to decide whether to get the Stub axles or the $80 steel constant velocity ones. I don’t want to have to worry about driveshafts breaking and if the stub axles don’t break very easily while being much cheaper than the steel ones it would be great

    Adding 100+ $ to the Hoss , would you recommend just getting a Maxx?

    • @marcgallant5270
      @marcgallant5270 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have both and this kit makes it as durable as the maxx/xmaxx but the Hoss is a better stunt truck than the maxx, better air control and rotation. Plenty of power on 3s and if you want more upgrade to a better ESC (max8), even on 3s you'll gain more power

    This guy: I don't think you'll ever be able to brake this on a 10th scale car....
    Literally everyone who bought this kit: HOLD MY BEER!!!!!

    Hey I have a rustler with hoss electronics and I can’t make it through a batter with out breaking at least one axle on it. Is there a way to just buy the heavy duty axles if so do you know the part number? If you could get back to me that would be great!

    what are the bearing size?

    For the price of the Hoss it should come with this stuff. My Maxx is more durable than my GF Hoss and the price isn't that much greater especially when the price of this kit is taken into consideration.

    Man I hope those driveshafts work!

      I like them. No binding !! They seem frictionless. And lighter then the steel ones !!

      @@ParkflyersRC I haven’t bought the steel ones yet in fear that they break too for the money they charge for them.

      @@bucktownbashers6433 same here i had good results from the grey plastic ones but they wear out eventually and i get about 6 packs or a few months, the new plastic ones look awesome huge and light

      My Rustler 4x4 is over powered running a Castle Mamba Monster X and 1515 2200kv motor. I have the proline trencher hp tires, and I twisted/snapped one of the EHD plastic axles within 15min of driving. I’m going to upgrade to the tra9051r and tra9052r cv axles. I had the MIP xDuty axles before the ehd kit, but they wouldn’t work together because the ehd axles are 6mm and the MIP axles are only 5mm. I was running the truck on 4s so the plastic would probably work good for a stock system and tires.

      @@BrianW2979 I did some research and the bearing holders from the xo1 will fit the hoss and rustler with the xo1 driveshafts witch is 6s should handle it so that’s what I’m gonna do!

    I've had Traxxas for a long time… I have a rustler now. Honestly I think they are a screwed up company. And the reason I say that is because they sell you a car that has problems and breaks while they call it extreme new heavy-duty upgrade… And then they sell you another upgrade.and another and another… There are three different plastic driveshafts for the rustler now. They're so busy figuring out ways to screw with us to siphon money from our pockets into their pockets…the Apple of RC cars…it's just the way they keep screwing with us they really honestly seem 150% money hungry just too much

    • @falcondragonslayer
      @falcondragonslayer ปีที่แล้ว

      The main goal of all companies is to make money, so you can’t really get mad at them for it. Should the vehicles come with the best driveshafts? Probably, but it would also bump up the cost a little more

    • @jeffrenman4146
      @jeffrenman4146 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@falcondragonslayer you just defended them their price is so high already for a RC car… We all have our opinions but I think honestly even the rustler is easily over $100 way over price… For the obnoxious money they ask we should get more. It's one thing to make money but another thing to rape their customers. Take care that's just my opinion
