The song you opened and closed with one of my all time favorites. The sub enclosure was different but I have liked others much better, all other aspects were aesthetically pleasing.

I have a model 3 with the premium audio package. All I want to add is a sub in the trunk. Do you have a video where you show where you are getting 12V power for the amp and how you are getting the audio signal to it etc

Did you know that Taramp are making High Voltage car audio amplifier?.. By high voltage i mean up to 400Vdc input instead of 12V... they can out up to 160 000W.. sure it is not for SQ but it is way more simple! Tesla batteri is about that voltage... connect it directly! and up you have acces to FULL battery power and not being limited by the internal Dc-Dc converter to gove you 12V with about 100A..
Woodcraft is a good source for burlwood boards, blocks, veneer etc. and Arizona ironwood is also a good source for high end burlwood.

Oh all this is epic but if given a budget of 1500 dollars which includes speakers, amps, sub, dsp, sound dampening and wires
What would be the part list? (if you don't mind sharing), because all this is excellent equipment and I wish I could listen to this in the future and I know the 1500 dollars setup won't sound like this at all but would be way better than factory for a Honda, skoda or vw.

Abhishek Rohera you could not do it correctly for 1500. Even if you pair entry level equipment... you could not do speakers, amps, sub, DSP, and sound treatment for 1500. The most basic form will be in the $4k price point.

Oh okay shit wanted to upgrade my Honda's sound was planning on buying 2 infinity kappas components or focal entry level speakers but after this a bit sceptical about it. Will it sound trash or the end result is not justified spending 1500 dollars because 4000 dollars basic setup will be good but it's just way out of my budget

This is probably too basic but is there a Illusion audi or other speaker set you sell that is more plug and play with the current car amps? And or sub upgrade. Tesla S 2018 facelift.
By the way. You mention often 3 way sets are better in ok with that. If there is a front three way that would be great.
Nice work but how are you running power? I would hope there's a way not to kill the cycle life of the factory battery. Maybe they will add a separate generator or alternator off the drivetrain somehow so that minimal effect of battery life is effected. 18650 even 21700 cell prices are pretty expensive especially when you have to buy a complete oem tesla pack itself

How much power do you think an audio system uses. Lol. It isn’t even measurable on the car. I have done 100s of teslas and there has never been any kind of noticeable range loss. Ever. Running an audio system on a Tesla battery pack is the equivalent of powering a single led on a bank of car batteries. It does not have. A measurable impact. Just think about how much power it takes to propel the car down the road at 60mph for a mile. No where the energy to run an audio system for multiple hours. Lol.

Incredible install! I'm very curious to know what impact the current draw of a 1500 watt sound system has on an electric car that depends on it's battery charge for everything, not to mention the added weight. How were these factors considered in this application, and what are your thoughts in general about high power audio in electric cars? Thanks for sharing the knowledge!
endall39 it does not affect the car at all. These are the best cars to install this type of equipment. See my other Tesla videos where I go in depth explaining this.
@@therealmatty_s Matt, this is true on 2006 Lexus rx400h hybrid? No alternator, the DC-to-DC converter is 288V and apparently recharges the auxiliary standard battery, in the engine department is 13.9 volts.
Can you upgrade an OEM speaker, woofer and or subwoofer by reassembling it with factory dimensions aftermarket components???

Yes, the light on the enclosure lights up the entire trunk area.

I have never used it.
What is the difference between the AMAS 2 chip that your using in this setup and MOS chip? Are both chips limited to Bluetooth 3.0? How do they sound in comparison?
I know you can use an adapter to go from a Fiio player to coaxial digital into the Mosconi processor, but I know Matt favors the Astell and Kern player, so I don't know if they offer the same type of thing, but I'd assume so.

I checked out the video. It was very informative, but unfortunately none of the literature on the AMAS 2 chip says that it supports aptX HD. The specs say it supports Bluetooth 3.0 and A2DP Audio. Have the specs changed or they didn't update the manuals/specifications?

Checked your website out, it's a shame you don't have straightforward pricing or any pricing for that matter. I have a Model S 85, wouldn't be any different than the p 100d in terms of space and totality.
If you have seen my other videos or the website you would see that everything we build is tailored for that particular client. No set up is the same which is why you do not see pricing. None of this is mass produced. There are tons of different product to fit each persons budget. You can have extensive fabrication or none at all. It is tailored to you. We build packages around budget.
