    Even for its age it holds up as one of Canon's best SLR cameras.

      Keep in mind that the fast aperture f1.8 com combined with that bright light coming from the stairs helped out tremendously. Although this was a low light situation, there was still alot of light present. That can cut down on the grain significantly.

      I’ve shot a lot of video with the T6i, it stinks. Would not recommend the rebel series for cinematographers. Will get grainy footage in even a bit of low light and no log mode to colour grade. Autofocus is some of the worst I’ve ever seen on any camera ever. Would only recommend manually focusing footage.

    As a hybrid shooter myself - Canon and Sony - your results dos not surprise me. Canon aps-c without a stabilised lense, high ISO and long shutterspeed are doomed to fail. The images from your Sony was sharper and less noisy. a7iii are lightyears ahead of t3i. Both lenses are very sharp I dont think the lenses did much of an influence on your test.

    • @LeKStudios
      @LeKStudios  5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      That's the think I don't think it failed, I did a post on these photos on IG and most people guessed it wrong they couldn't tell the difference, so it really comes down to where are you going to post it, if it's IG then they are both great to use, it comes down to your vision, I have worked with the T3i for years and have only upgraded last year, and most people thought I was working with a waaaay better camera. The odds were highly stacked against the T3i in this test because I was shooting at night, if I shot in the daytime I'm pretty sure it would be even harder telling them apart

    • @theurbanartist775
      @theurbanartist775 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      LeKStudios Absolutely, with light its most definitely harder to tell. And I’ll out money on that. People don’t understand that Canon has been on top for ages besides Nikon. And now that Sony is running the sales people think they’re cameras are better. A correct comparison would be the new EOS R👍

    I have a T5i and I don't get why people are so obsessed over quality, it's great both ways. One thing I CAN tell you is that in astrphotography the A7III crushes Canon's performance in extreme low light

      The only reason I didn't give one is to just let people judge it themselves but being that you're asking me I would say it held up pretty well for a 8 yr old entry level camera as you can see, especially with it being at night, one of its biggest weaknesses.

      @jadoon702 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      LeKStudios thanks for the swift reply ...I was very impressed with the fact that the canon looked like a newer camera with the exact specs that are needed for pro photography and videography...... nothing more than what u need in fact this camera has the bare minimum required to shoot

    • @LeKStudios
      @LeKStudios  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yep. And it really comes down to who's holding the camera, sure newer cameras makes things easier, more convenient and gives a boost in image quality but it all comes down to the photographer, having that eye for composition and Lighting is the key fundamentals to a great photo (and some editing lol)

    • @jadoon702
      @jadoon702 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      LeKStudios so basically does a cheap camera these days that’s way cheaper stand a chance or is the t3i the bare minimum required to get that a73 look?

    • @LeKStudios
      @LeKStudios  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I personally won't say it has that "a7iii look" as you put it, but for the age of the camera it done a pretty nice job holding up against the heavy hitter. Also the best way to get the best quality out of the T3i is speedlights/strobes that way one can keep the ISO at 100

    • @LeKStudios
      @LeKStudios  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      First I want to say that you don't need flashes to be a professional photographer, you are not defined as a professional by your gear. Next I had my lights with me but the wind was way too strong to set them up, the wind was blowing the girls making them almost fall over, my light stand would have snapped in half, but I'm happy I didn't use one because it showed better what the camera could or couldn't do. If you want to see me use lights just look at some of my other videos and you'll see all of that. (it's not with the T3i tho)
