If you think that’s bad try departing from Bristol Airport! People queue up outside for hours just to get to security. The departure lounge is extremely overcrowded with people sitting and lying on the floor because there’s not enough seats or space. Getting up very early 3am and several hours of queues for security all you want is cup of tea but everywhere is full up and it’s standing space only for another couple of hours. And they just keep on adding more flights making the queues and overcrowding worse. Long walks to gates with no moving walk ways of airbridges to plane. Bristol has to be one of the worlds worst airports.
My upcoming airport reviews are London Gatwick and Venice Marco Polo Airport in August 2023. (Then London Heathrow Terminal 5 and Larnaca Airport, Cyprus in September 2023) ❤
It all looks a bit dreadful. Reminds me of East Midlands , Manchester and Leeds and Glasgow and and and…( yes you may include other LCC airports such as Charleroi and Bergamo) Underpaid lousy staff, cheap solutions / building materials, factory food & beverages.
