I've watched lots of videos on altered clipboards and I like your version the best. I agree with you. When selling items at craft fairs, you don't want to invest too much money or time on each item, especially when the price point is under $10. I will definitely be giving this a try. Thank you for sharing.
You are the sweetest lady to share all of these ideas and I really appreciate it. My air conditioner went out right before the hot weather started and I am trying to save money to buy a new one. They told me that it would cost $5000.00 and I live on social security ,so it will take me awhile to save up for one.
Oh yeah, I know this is almost a year old but seeing your last few seconds... I keep stopping at Target looking for those plastic pockets but yet to find them. Will keep trying. Thanks for all your videos!
So cute i had actually already thought about doing this for my daughter in law for Christmas. She is a nurse. Thought it would be a cute gift. Loved ur video thank you!
I just found your channel last night and I am LOVING your videos. You sound so fun and friendly. Wish you lived next door and could teach me all your crafty ideas:) I am definitely going to try some of your projects. Thank you so much for sharing.
Very sweet! I never knew they had clipboards where the clip unscrewed, I’ve always just worked around it! This is fun, you have an eye for embellishing. Thank you. Smiles, Darby
Small crafting Big fun yes ma’am!! Home is home even when it’s hot! One day I will see New Jersey! The closet I have come is Connecticut when I was on CAT duty when super storm Sandy hit. One day I will get there! Hawaii is beautiful but expensive!
To remove the rivets, you can use a drill. Just drill directly into in the indents on the front, and they will fall out. Remove the clip, decorate, and either put new rivets in (tools are cheap), or replace them with the screw in rivets. I've done this before and it's very easy.
These are really pretty and fun. Have you seen the mini clipboards, made with chipboard coasters? You cover them front and back, add a clip at the top, which holds your post-it pad. They are super cute, take little time to make , AND the coasters come 4 in a pack for $1. You can decorate the clip at the top too. You'd probably have 50 cents in one, plus your time which w/be minimal, and if you add a pen (8 for $1 from Dollar Tree) you could probably get $3, for them.
Another cute post-it note holder idea is to make a base shaped like a mason jar and decorate accordingly. They are really cute and easy to make in any size if you have an envelope punch board.
Congrats in advance for your 1,000 mark I know you will reach your numbers in no time. You really have an awesome imagination with your crafting. I could never think of all what you come up with. You inspire me so much. You know what else would be great for your clipboards is make a laminated pocket or pouch for it. I don’t know how that would work exactly but if you think that would work let me know. Thanks Happy Crafting from your TH-cam friend. 😊
I also laid them out in the yard and painted both sides red so if there were any small imperfections, with the Christmas paper, reds, whites and greens, they wouldn't be as noticeable
You might consider an idea I have, I'm going to cut some luan wood for clipboards, and use a binder clip for the top. Make it all from scratch and easy to cover. That's what I'm going to try
Hi Deanna. These are amazing! Such a great idea. Can the silver clip be painted? With acrylic paint or spray paint? Great gift idea too!! Thank you for sharing!! ❤️💕
P made some large ones with Christmas paper and they're real cute but don't have the circle thing on top. Those are probably more than a dollar apiece plain,I got mine at dollar tree. Ill see if they sell,I'm hopeful,I've made a whole lot of stuff so somebody is bound to like something I've made. Thanks for responding to me
Is that your table top or is it some sort of cover. I love it. I found some little clear clipboards on the dollar store and going to try this. I think they are so cute. Thanks for the inspiration.
I make wood clipboards, Most times I use new clips I purchase at Amazon but have used clips from Masonite boards. A drill would remove the clips in short order. Re attach the clip with Chicago screws. Available at most hardware stores and also on Amazon. Cheap and professional . Nothing to it
Deena, new subbie here and thank goodness I found you! You make the cutest and practical crafts! My twins enter 3rd grade this year and they need clipboards, but by God, they are so ugly....Until this video. Quick question, since they will be using daily, should I mod podge the top (after it is glued to the clip board)? I'm thinking of putting the school logo for school spirit and some inspirational words. I hope you can get back to me soon. Hugs, Angie TFS
Cathi thomas W🙄W....really???? Get over yourself lady !!!!! Such a shame that your own self importance allows negativity to be taken from such a positive, inspiring, creative, friendly and helpful video. I’d rather pronounce “modge podge” than show the world I’ve nothing better or more constructive to do with my time....just W🙄W...!!!!!!!!! I look forward to you correcting my lack of capital letters “Cathi thomas” THOMAS...not thomas...please!

Dinahsoar great idea!!!! I might make some!!!
Here's a youtube link showing some: th-cam.com/video/g_w9Xg36LPE/w-d-xo.html
These are amazing. You could hammer that top off and then use e6000 and glue it back on after it’s covered. Might make life easier.

Dinahsoar thanks!

I use wire or those plastic straps to hold the clip open while the paper dries.
These are beautiful!!!!
Thank you

Loved them. Would be great for school teacher gifts
You can use an emery board on your corners and edges after dry for a even edge! :) great project
I did that on my other ones! It works well!
And add glitter to your modpodge too...not a ton of course, but it makes a nice effect I've done it with other projects! 😍🤗
Thank you for the tip!
Love it!!! It is 111 in Wichita Falls!!
Karla Rush thanks! Oh the heat! Ugh but we love tx!
Love It, very neat idea, must try. Thanks
Congrats on 10000 subscribers!!!
Yeah,I had a hard time getting around that top part too and mine don't have that round hole thing on the top so yours are better
Rubye Wiggins thanks!
Can you use post card on those
Also an exacto knife gets the corners good without tearing the papering you let it dry before cutting it
Hi Deanna. These are amazing! Such a great idea. Can the silver clip be painted? With acrylic paint or spray paint? Great gift idea too!! Thank you for sharing!! ❤️💕

Sara Thompson no but I will look there! Thank u!
Where did you get the clip boards that size?
Tuesday Morning
Just fYI, Next time you have an odd spot like that you can make a newspaper template and you won't waste any of your good paper in case of mistakes.
Adorable 😊
What is the size of your clip board
Is that your table top or is it some sort of cover. I love it. I found some little clear clipboards on the dollar store and going to try this. I think they are so cute. Thanks for the inspiration.
It is craft paper that comes on a roll!

Great idea I'll be sure to try it and can you give me a shout out in your next video?

Angie Havener I have put it on top of paper and it kind of seals it

It would make it more sturdy if you did mod podge on the top as well. Thank you for watching!!
My husband and I lab and Marysville Washington it's a rainy day 61 degrees outdoors
I live in Hawaii... it’s ok. I hate it too
Why do you hate it?
Nicely done! BTW, its Mod Podge, not ModgePodge
Nancy Louise lol thanks
We have some clipboards bought.. just need to get them made
So cute but not functional. Those cute items would make the paper uneven on board. And most paper would cover it all up....so definitely adorable
Thanks
MOD Podge ... not Modge Podge ... please!
