depends where it’s coming from. if the seller was in Europe, Africa, Asia or Oceania then they send the shoes to the Hong Kong authentication place then it gets shipped to you. but now there’s a London authenticator so times are much shorter now.
Stock Xs fees are pretty ridiculous. The amount of times I saw a shoe I liked and made it to the confirmation screen just to say nah is insane. I get it if you’re buying used because they have to actually take time to look at it and confirm it’s legit but when they’re getting shoes directly from the manufacturer, a 20 dollar processing fee is insane.

Goat over Stock x any day, I had ordered a pair of bred toe 1s on the stock x app and the shoes never came, then I had to email back and forth with them multiple times with multiple different stock x representatives just for them to send me the shoe I payed for. Over Three months later the shoes finally came in and the box was damaged and ripped and the lace bag was already detached, I’m not even sure the shoes were Ds. In the end I decided I’d keep them though because dealing with stock x is just a pain. Overall, I would just order from goat if your trying to make a decision, I’ve bought three shoes from them, and the shoes come in less than a week from the time you place the order order every time.
You forgot to mention that Grailed digital authenticates their sneakers and clothing, meaning someone looks at the photos to determine if they're legit and if there's enough proof that their legit. As a seller on Grailed, I've had a listing rejected because I didn't have enough photos of the item or because I need photos of specific areas of the shoes/clothing item.

Yeah-I ordered Jan. 10th-received Jan. 25th. 15 days start to finish. I ordered a different pair straight from Nike on the 22nd and they came the same day as my shoes from GOAT.
StockX customer service is surprisingly better (somehow). Lost a pair in a flash flood (over 800 packages were destroyed) and they refunded me less than an hour later, no questions asked. Despite the info not being publicly available until the next day
In Canada GOAT still has duty fees and hidden fees, but they have the option to storage your shoes for lower costs and make it nice as a seller. Also they have options to buy/sell used pairs. StockX has worked out their shipping and fees but is still too expensive as a seller. Grailed is the hypebeast version of eBay and seem promising if they work in authenticity.
I always go with GOAT prices are fair and I get my shoes on time. I never used stockx mainly because their prices are really exuberant at final sale checkout

As far as stockx goes the reason why the taxes aren't applied in the beginning is because its going off the information saved on your account. Taxes for each state is different and they won't know that until you go to the next step.

Also, it's very unlikely bootleggers would bootleg the Bodega Dunks bc they're a recent release and because its such a unique shoe. I wouldn't recommend Grailed for rare shoes (unless you want them to send you a lot of photos and you want to legit check it.) Whoever the shipper is in your case DHL will send you a customs bill to charge you for the import tax… CUSTOMS in all countries is another corrupt tax system that taxes items that were already taxed in other ways.

On eBay it’s nice you can see the exact shoe that will ship to you. The seller can chose how to ship it to eBay. I always ask when are they going to ship b4 paying. And am I tripping or is goat usually more expensive than stock x??

I think you cant compare the sites through the „buy now“ price cause sometimes its higher in stockx or goat because a pair just sold and its far away from the actual equibilibrium price. He should have bid on them and wait until he got the cheapest possible price.

eBay is by far the best, I’ve got so many steals through bids and just negotiating prices. They have authentication for used sneakers as well I bought a beat pair of white cement 3s 88 for 80 bucks cleaned em now they worth like 400 minimum

I guess it all depends on where you're located. Where I'm at I don't get charged Taxes, and my worst buying experience was on Goat. I tried to cancel a purchase that I've made 2 minutes earlier coz I found a $75 cheaper pair and it refused to cancel coz the seller confirmed the order. What kind of bs is this, seller didn't even ship the item till 3 days later. To me, they are a desperate very unprofessional company. There's a saying that Customer is always right, not with Goat. Btw I received the unwanted sneaker 3 weeks later and ended up keeping it coz for me to return I had to lose more money. StockX is way better and it never charged me taxes. Just shipping and processing fees

Last time I purchased from StockX they sent me used shoes 😳, with a damn authentic tag and all, were purchased as a NEW shoe, and the white bottoms were grey from being worn and creases lol. Reached out and never heard back, would never go thru them again.

The GOAT experience has been both ends of speed for me. MMW4s were already at the warehouse evidently and came in 3 days. Yeezy covelite has yet to be shipped by them 11 days in.

I have bought and sold on eBay and it takes about 10 days give or take a day,it seems like it sits in authentication
For 3-4 days,after it’s been authorized it’ll take 48 hours because they expedite with fedex.
