@INSIDE RUSSIA . THIS IS AN UPDATED LETTER. PLEASE READ TO THE END. YOUR POLITICAL ASYLUM STATUS WILL BE ABSOLUTELY GRANTED TO YOU BUT IT WILL TAKE MANY YEARS WHILE YOU WILL RECEIVE A WORK AUTHORIZATION CARD (PERMIT), AND HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK AND RESIDE IN THE NATION IN WHICH YOU ARRIVE AND APPLY FIRST FOR POLITICAL ASYLUM, AND LATER FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE DOCUMENTS. BUT THAT IS ONLY POSSIBLE AFTER YOU ENTER LIKE THE REFUGEES ENTER ILLEGALLY THE EU, USA, or CANADA. STUDY AND FIND OUT HOW THEY
      ENTER
AND DO THE SAME. IF YOU WANT AN EASIER WAY, THEN FIND OUT WHICH NATION (like Argentina, Chile or Peru) IS WILLING TO GIVE YOU A TOURIST VISA. SUCH VISA WON'T BE GRANTED TO YOU IF YOU TELL THEM THAT YOU INTEND TO REMAIN THERE BY APPLYING FOR POLITICAL ASYLUM. You must get there
      first
whichever way you can (LEGALLY OR ILLEGALLY) and then mention about political asylum and apply for such status of POLITICAL REFUGEE, once you are inside the particular nation where you decide to remain. They do not want to hear about political asylum while you are not inside their nations. From
      where
you are, you could only mention your desire to visit as a tourist their nation. DO NOT WAIT TO LEAVE UZBEKISTAN AND TO APPLY FOR POLITICAL REFUGE STATUS IN THOSE WESTERN NATIONS, DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOUR PASSPORT EXPIRES OR UNTIL WESTERN NATIONS CHANGE THE LAWS FOR THE NEW COMERS WHICH OVERWHELMS THOSE COUNTRIES WITH IMMIGRANTS. It will not be possible (in the West) to apply with an expired passport, for
      political
refuge status. Right now it is still possible to enter somehow (IF NECESSARY ILLEGALLY) in the EU, Canada or the USA and then to apply for political asylum, and obtain a work permit and work many years until your political asylum status get approved, but until then it is a blessing to remain and work there. You should find out from
      Uzbekistan
while you are in Uzbekistan, if is possible for Russian tourists to get tourist visas for Argentina, and to apply in Argentina for immigration visa. After you arrive in Argentina or in whichever country you get in, then you should apply for political asylum once you get there with your family. Russian people like you are not aware that there is good life in Chile, Peru, Argentina, and Costa-Rica. About Argentina, Chile, Peru and Costa Rica (countries where very
      many
Americans go to retire since the cost of living there is much lower than in the USA), for those countries you need to find in advance if is possible to obtain in those South America countries, immigration visas but make sure you mention that you are "Christian" not Muslim and after you get there, always remind them that you are "political refugees against Putin". Next year or the year after
      that,
things may change in most of Western nations, and become impossible or harder to find a good future refugee place. IT IS YOUR FAULT THAT YOU DID NOT DO IT UNTIL NOW AND GOT COMFORTABLE WITH YOUR LIFE IN UZBEKISTAN. You should have entered Finland instead of Uzbekistan. Many Russians entered Finland few month after you entered Uzbekistan. GO TO ANY EU
      nation
such as Portugal, Spain, . . . etc or Greece (Cyprus) to enter EU through one of those countries or to MEXICO to a Mexican town on the border with the USA, to enter the USA with your family illegally. IN LATE 2022 OR IN 2023 was much easier and tens of thousands of Russians entered that way the USA and the EU and even Canada. Even now is possible but is not as easy and you have to take much greater risks of money
      waste
and much time waste at the frontier until you find a way to get in, illegally, because once you are inside, you could become legal by applying for POLITICAL ASYLUM. One year and a half (ago) we also have advised you to study and learn German as well, (just enough to get around with it, if you enter the EU's Germany], even though foreigners in Germany are managing fine by using English, (but there are situations when there is need to know some German) before you will study more and get a status in that country,
      together
with your family. We have been in the USA and we know that Germany is hugely competitive with the USA, even better that the USA in wages for the majority of the residents who live in Germany while the USA's wages are lower than the wages that the Germans offers for the majority of the Germans which earns in Germany; the USA's wages are lower for the majority of the USA residents that live in the USA, and all this we compare with the cost of living, food prices and rents. You could save more money in Germany than you could save in the USA or Canada.
      Germany
could have been your first step (to go farther across the ocean -- if you didn't want to remain there.) The Russian-Ukrainian opposition TH-cam channel reporter Denys Davydov (which now due to Putin's genocide in Ukraine, he won't even admit anymore that he is or was a "Russian Ukrainian", but rather proudly declares his total Ukrainian allegiance and "provenience" only as a "Ukrainian" now, there where he lives in Germany are plenty of Russians
      from
Russia that are in Germany (and got there after you left Russia) and very much welcomed after they said that they hate the guts of Putin and wish him dead, and they wish that he ends in hell as soon as possible. We do not wish anyone to end in hell but plenty of Russians in Germany have been approved for political asylum and green cards "permanent residence" based on their vehement opposition against Putin and his "Putin-ian" Russian extremist
      indoctrinated
population that supports Putin. The Germans the same like the Canadians and the Americans and the English and the French and dozens of other nations very much welcomed people like you but you had to get to there to them (legally or illegally, didn't matter), no matter what it took, you have to get there as proof that you desire to live among them. Don't expect them to help you to come into their countries. If you want it bad enough, you
      have to
manage to get there (EVEN ILLEGALLY), if there is no other possible way, get inside those nations illegally and then apply for political asylum, with your family taking the travel risk of cost of spending saved money. That alone (taking the travel risk to get there in those countries) will be the proof that they need for you to see you as a credible political refugee on top of your "INSIDE RUSSIA" channel proof. Now only the USA, Canada and Germany (with few small EU Western countries perhaps like Portugal), are still very much open to welcome you
      and your
family very much provided that you get inside their countries, without them having to help you in any way, and provided that you have patience, once you get there and endure all their bureaucratic processes. But nothing to worry because during the process that may take very many years, you will have a work permit and work, rent a
      place
and live a comfortable life. If you can't manage to enter the EU or the USA (legally or illegally it won't matter whichever way) then go to Argentina or Chile or Peru, which are good countries for the future but you must learn Spanish to live in Argentina or Chile or Peru, far away from all possible wars). If you somehow enter the USA, Canada or EU
      and
once you are there inside one of those Western nations,, there is no way in the world that they will deny your political asylum based on whom you are with your "INSIDE RUSSIA" TH-cam Channel. There are great powerful and extended Russian opposition communities in Germany and in the USA but since life is much better or else different than in Uzbekistan, many of the people in the West, (most of them) are
      less
willing to get often together. Few of them gets often together but many of them get seldom together, because being busy mainly to build their own carriers where they are well paid, well employed, and well set to raise their own families, therefore have less time to spend with others, and barely enough time for their own families. You may not be aware but the ISIS and Taliban government of Afghanistan
      are set
(well decided) on building channels for diverting most of the water from the river that now blesses with water Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. THEREFORE IF " I F " WHAT THEY HAVE DECIDED, ENDS HAPPENING, THE FUTURE OF THE REGULAR UZBEKISTANY AND OF TURKMENISTANY WILL BECOME VERY . . . NOT SO GOOD, AND YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WILL BE GREATLY AFFECTED BY IT because
      life
will become much more expensive there in Uzbekistan (10 times more expensive than what it will be in the West) unless Uzbekistan have plenty of petrol and gases to sell but still without water the agriculture dies and food have to all be purchased from outside for expensive price, which won't help you for the food and rent prices. THEN even more people will try to immigrate, and IT WILL BE MUCH HARDER FOR YOU TO
      GET TO
Germany or the USA when the Western gates will also be closed MUCH MORE THAN IT IS NOW. Now is the time to find a way and do your best to try to take refuge in the EU, USA, Canada, or in South America's Argentina ... or etc. If somehow you manage to get to Canada (which is also a great country because you will feel in it as if you were in the USA, .. you will have a hard time to adjust to the cold whether there (Moscow type of whether), after being adjusted now to the heat of Uzbekistan. FRIEND WE RENEW OUR ADVICE: GET OUT OF UZBEKISTAN. IT IS NOT SAFE FOR YOU THERE AS MUCH AS IS NOT SAFE IN RUSSIA FOR YOU ANYMORE

Konstantin, I remember reading about famous German, French, etc intellectuals/writers that were roaming Europe to find a place to live first during the Spanish War and then during WWII to survive the Nazis. I do understand some of the difficulties you have. But I also learned that sometimes there were totally unforseen events and chances to be able to leave for another country. But you must have kept applying and made it known to others. What may not be now can easily happen tomorrow, often unannounced. The biggest mistake you can make is assume instead of knowing for sure. Keep up with/repeat the efforts to apply in various ways ( family, citizenship, political refugee), one of these could come true when you least expect it. And when the time comes where you have a chance and just need the money to follow through, I am sure that all us followers will be able to come up with it in time. Your channel alone will make you proof that you are a Putin opponent. I just hope that you dont have to go from one place to another too often just to stay safe until then. Keep making your plans, you will just need more of them, A, B, and C may not be enough, especially not when you also have to keep your family safe. I love your channel and the daily news briefs. These tell me that Putin will not have much time left. Go with God!

In soçviet times if any of my family had managed to put a foot on British soil they would never have wanted to go back. Why would you worry about the Russian embassy taking your Russian passport? In Britain you would walk to the local Police station, put one foot on the ground, hands iin the air and say the russian Embassy has takern my passport I am a refugee. From that point on you would be looked after. I now live in France, part of the European Community and I can tell you in the EU VERY similar. Why would you want to go back to a >KGB state? Finland is busy making strict anti-immigration laws because the nationalist extremist party Perussuomalaiset is in government. This will lead to much stricter policies on asylum and naturalization. As a Russian citizen, you would also face serious restrictions on owning any property in the country. There is a bill proposing banning altogether owning any real estate in Finland for Russian citizens. Also, Russia will most certainly be considered as a "safe country" as Finland is pushing a bill letting asylum seekers pushed back to Russia. Do not risk your life by going to Finland. They are not able to distinguish between Russian dissidents and Putin supporters, and will treat anybody from Russia as a threat for their national security. For EU countries, Baltic states are a better bet, because they understand your situation better. Of coures, asylum is the only real possibility of getting a permission to settle in the Baltics for a Russian these days. Finland is too afraid of "hordes of Russians" to let anybody in.

Some people are so ready to give their lives for people who couldn’t care less for them or their families. Your life matters more than ANY country. Your loved ones should always be a priority. I’m a patriot but I’m not sacrificing my kid in the name of patriotism based on someone else’s definition. I’m an army vet and we lost a Major from my unit and combat medic from another support unit attached to ours, IED and RPG. We pulled convoys, it’s a dangerous job. But let me tell you something, seeing that mother w just a flag and some medal in place of her son was beyond sad. We also had to buy toys for the Major’s kids for Xmas. He was killed in Nov. Take care, peeps, don’t let anyone bamboozle you into fighting their wars. Defense of your land is one thing, but in Russia this ain’t it. I don’t see rich kids at the front line, it’s always the poor. Sorry for the long rant, but I’m jaded.

Losing 3 million highly educated workers is a gargantuan blow to the russian economy, and is going to set the economy back by decades. It shouldn't be forgotten that these people are also not available to train new people in their respective fields. Even the two years the russian war of aggression has gone on for will have a compounding effect due to new highly skilled labour not entering the workforce because no one is present to train them. Considering the ideology of the russian government and it's mad flailing to try to remain being perceived as a super power, it trying to punish those, who took their ethical and personal concerns to heart and removed themselves from Putlers control, is unsurprising.

3 million for a 145 million country would be like 100.000 people leaving a country like Hungary or Bulgaria ( which is happening)
Their economies are slacking but still growing
And they don't even have 100 billion/ year in oil revenues like Russia
      I'm just saying that Russia can still linger on and slowly going down for 20 years like this ;

Without the higher tier tech your economy is deadlocked into the tech area of the 1970s, maybe less (there was a lot of mechanical solutions for what computers do today, but that needs highly skilled people too)
Plus it is 3 million of the people who do things without getting told to do them, that is why it is called braindrain, if you axe from the upper scale of the workforce you have way more problems than to few people to run a factory, you have not the people who make the factory in the first place.

PART 2 of 2 - FRIEND, Konstantin, THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR YOUR IMMIGRATION. READ TO THE END. THERE IS JUST NO CHANCE TO REFUSE YOUR APPROVAL FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE DOCUMENTS ONCE YOU ARE INSIDE THE EU or Canada or USA. DO NOT WAIT TO APPLY FOR POLITICAL REFUGE STATUS IN THOSE WESTERN NATIONS UNTIL YOUR PASSPORT EXPIRES OR UNTIL THEY CHANGE THE LAWS FOR THE NEW COMERS WHICH OVERWHELMS THOSE COUNTRIES WITH IMMIGRANTS. It will not be possible (in the West) to apply with an expired passport, for
    political
refuge status. Right now it is still possible to enter somehow in the EU, Canada or the USA and to remain and work there. You should find out from Uzbekistan while you are in Uzbekistan, if is possible for Russian tourists to get tourist visas for Argentina, and to apply in Argentina for immigration visa or for political asylum once you get there with your family. About Argentina, Chile, Peru and Costa Rica (countries where very
    many
Americans go to retire since the cost of living there is much lower than in the USA), for those countries you need to find in advance if is possible to obtain in those South America countries, immigration visas but make sure you mention that you are "Christians not Muslims" and "political refugees against Putin". But next year or the year after that, things may change in most of Western nations, and become impossible or harder to find a good fute refugee place. IT IS YOUR FAULT THAT YOU DID NOT GO TO ANY EU
    nation
such as Portugal, Spain, . . . etc, or to MEXICO to a Mexican town on the border with the USA, with your family as tourists, IN LATE 2022 OR IN 2023 when was very much possible and tens of thousands of Russians entered that way the USA and the EU and even Canada. We also have advised you to study and learn German as well, (just enough to get around with it, even though foreigners in Germany are managing fine by using English, (but there are situations when there is need to know some German)
    together
with your family. We have been in the USA and we know that Germany is hugely competitive with the USA, even better that he USA in wages for the majority of the residents who live in Germany while the USA's wages are lower that the German offered wages earned in Germany; the USA's wages are lower for the majority of the USA residents that live in the USA, and all this we compare with the cost of living, food prices and rents. You could save more money in Germany than you could save in the USA or Canada.
    Germany
could have been your first step if you didn't want to remain there. The Russian-Ukrainian opposition TH-cam channel reporter Denys Davydov (which now due to Putin's genocide in Ukraine, he won't even admit anymore that he is or was a "Russian Ukrainian", but rather proudly declares his total Ukrainian allegiance and "provenience" only as a "Ukrainian" now, where he lives in Germany are plenty of Russians
    from
Russia that are in Germany very much welcomed after them saying that they hate the guts of Putin and wish him dead or that he ends in hell as soon as possible. We do not wish anyone in hell but plenty of Russians in Germany have been approved for political asylum and green cards "permanent residence" based on their vehement opposition against Putin and his "Putin-ian" Russian extremist indoctrinated
    population
that supports him and kills people like you based on opposing him. The Germans the same like the Canadians and the Americans and the English and the French and dozens of other nations very much welcomed people like you but you had to get to them, no matter what it took, as a proof that you very much desire to live among them. Don't expect them to help you to come into their countries. If you want it bad enough, you
    have to
manage to get there with your family taking the travel risk of cost of spending saved money. That alone (taking the travel risk to get there in those countries) will be the proof that they need for you to see you as a credible political refugee on top of your "INSIDE RUSSIA" channel proof. Now only the USA, Canada and Germany (with few small EU Western countries perhaps like Portugal), are still very much open to welcome you
    and your
family very much provided that you get to them without them having to help you in any way, and provided that you have patience, once you get there and endure all their bureaucratic processes. Unless you want to go to Argentina or Chile or Peru, which are good countries for the future but you must learn Spanish to live in Argentina or Chile or Peru, far away from all possible wars).
You may not be aware but the ISIS and Taliban government of Pakistan
    are set
(well decided) on building channels for diverting most of the water from the river that now blesses with water Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

I do not know if this is something International, but anyway, I learned in school, that as a citizen I have an obligation to protest if something/somebody is committing crimes against humanity in my country, or are betraying the values of my country/ of humanity. 🇩🇰 Even if its about the leadership of my country.
We call that CIVIL COURAGE, and I remember feeling the heavy burden the society was placing on me. I felt Scarry, but also proud that my actions was important and needed for a secure society to work.
And of course you, Konstantin, and all Russians that fled, showed Civil Courage as you understood that it was no longer possible to live as a free individual in Russia and that the leadership was not acting to benefit the Russian population.
Thanks again, for this lifestream, it's so important to show us in the West, that Russians are so much more, than the killing machine we read about in our media.
The Russians fleeing abroad will be the ones that can show other nations what Russians also are!!. You can help your country men regaining acceptance and respect from outside world, when this war is over.
Please tell us, if it is possible to say it openly, how are the chances for you to get another nationality, or does it give problems?

Many of these satellite countries could easily be coerced by the Kremlin to round them up. Having said that, I'm sure Konstatin and others have a plan B.

WONDERFUL WORK KONSTANTIN. KEEP IT UP. YOUR COMMENTARY IS SOMEHOW BETTER THAN OTHER ANALYSTS.
They seem to focus exclusively on macro events, laws, and policies. (Frontline movements. Nations pledging help to Ukraine. Nations sanctioning Russia. Macro in other words.) But you explain the impact on individual people; on Russian people who refuse to become murderous savages, and therefore are victimized. You describe the impact on individual citizens lives which are of paramount interest. Today’s broadcast among the best examples.
AS TO PUNITIVE MEASURES like canceling or non-renewal of Russian passports: there is the clear Russian intention to bring you back to Russia, where you will be in a prison, unable to leave. Returning men will very likely be swept up into military positions or other unsuitable positions that they would not want. Makes me wonder: do such people therefore qualify to request sanctuary in western countries, maybe especially the USA? I refer to sanctuary on the basis of being persecuted if you return to your home nation. All kinds of Africans and central Americans do exactly that .. and Syrians, Somalis, etc. Confiscating Russian passports, jailing people for a couple of anti-propaganda words, seizing private property .. sure sounds to me like persecution.
Expectation of persecution is grounds for sanctuary status in many free countries.

I think it was this channel that I stumbled across a couple years ago when the invasion began. I only watched small pieces of one or two videos. I remember not being sure which side the creator was on. Now, watching this, you have made it very clear that you have your facts straight. Best of lucky to you and your channel. Keep it up.

As an American I was a little surprised that they didn't close the boarder before announcing conscription. Then they just let them go, but now they need more bodies to turn into corpses at the front and are running out of young men in Russia. I agree with you that they are going to cancel passports and it's going to happen sooner rather than later. Men outside Russia need to get to the nation that they want to reside in permanently and apply for asylum or other relief and do it now.

Sounds like they mostly want more bodies for the meat-grinder. Someone loses their passport, the country they are in kicks them out (for invalid passport), Russia's made it unlikely for other countries to take them in, they are arrested, and the truck goes right past the prison to the front lines. Ufff.... Hopefully all of you are able to get an asylum visa before this goes into effect and before the passports expire. If not... anyone that can't may wanna look into any possible country that will take them in and give them a visa no-questions-asked, pretty much no matter how bad the country. Just to get an extension.

I hadn’t seen your suggestion of asylum. I just wrote a similar suggestion about sanctuary based on fear of persecution back in Russia.

In English, there's a great Christmas song : Do You Hear What I Hear? [From the Western moral framework, (often showed by 3 monkeys: HEAR no evil, SEE no evil, SPEAK no evil.) You were absolutely spot-on (Irish speak) regarding your ties there. They won't - they don't realize what they've lost!!!

Run Run Run song echoed over the many cities in Russia
It's obvious why so many smart people left, not only out of fear of dying but didn't want to be part of a senseless war
that by the way happened incidentally when Putin was in a bad mood and snapped. Were there any other reasons?
I doubt it, he just snapped. Who said life in Kiev is better than in Moscow, not for long until I'm done with them.
So he has been trying for more than two years and today because of the circumstances life may not be better than in Moscow
but people are still free with hope for the future.
People who fled understood that Putin's propaganda was not their mother expecting hugs and kisses
They understood that the man who had lost his mind could not bring anything good in the future.
The question of Run or stay and Invade was sorted out, Invade wasn't a vital option to support.
Leaving Russia is in a way a contribution to peace. It was voted "No to War".
Putin was convinced having untouchable military power would bring the world to its knees
but was probably stunned by how quickly his three-day special operation failed.
Today he knows his army is not as strong as he thought, he's shaking from fear and that's why
he begs other regime countries to join him and they do for one reason, they fear NATO more than Putin.
Changing country laws on the fly is another sign of desperation. He tries to adjust people's lives
to the endless war, there will be no successful end tomorrow.
Russians who did not want or could flee the country Putin invited them by force to join his invasion party.
I doubt if many of them believed in Putin's propaganda that Ukrainians are dangerous enemies to be killed.
If Conscripted or on contract they believed only in Putin's money and did not care about success in the trenches,
It was a secondary role for them without performance consideration. Just do everything possible to come home in one piece.
That is why Putin has such a hard time winning despite having advanced weapons.
Doesn't he know that weapons without hearts will not win the war?
