Hi, your tropical plants are beautiful and very healthy, for this your tropical garden is beautiful and with all the figures and details you decorate it. Is a wonderful garden tour, I enjoy it very much. I live in a tropical island and June, July and August are very hots and many plants dies is very hard for them including the bananas also with the problem we have because aren’t raining and the rivers are very low, but I hope this finish and the green color paint our mountains again. Thanks for sharing your tropical BEAUTIFUL garden.
I allways look forward to your tours, they never disappoint, I would never be inside, with such a tranquil, oasis of a garden like yours, the lawn has come up a treat, your hard work continues to be a joy for you and us, thankyou for sharing xxx
Absolutely beautiful! I admire your garden, like a tropical paradise retreat indeed! Missing? The sound of water ? Fountain of some sort but otherwise gorgeous ! I live in Canada so I cannot grow such beautiful tropical plants, my garden theme is a Japanese flower garden , mostly all perennials plants, shrubs evergreens and Japanese maples , stuff that will survive our winters. New for me this year is a birdbath and some veggie gardening.
I'm sooooo jealous . That is the most beautiful garden I have ever seen in my life. Life goals for sure. Fist thing to do is get a yard 😂. Love your videos ❣️
you have an awesome garden! i didn't want to have this lot of work, but i appreciate it very much. keep on, Lady! greetings from germany (rainy days since weeks here), kirstin
I've waited for this, great to see the june update on your garden , all, including the grass looking good . Your garden Always inspires me to get back out in the garden and come up with new ideas for my young tropical gdn.
Yes I did see your garden before. What a difference .I also saw your garden in a magazine article. I hope you have some background.. cricket noise ..on when your having a glass of wine at night ..perfect !!😎
Its gorgeous, very lush as you say. Got 3 bananas this year, only 3 foot tall babies so very envious of yours had lots of rain and winds in lancashire lately so had to bring g them indoors.
Hi Hanna I love the division to your garden and love the night lights as well very peaceful and like to camp out there looking at the starts just enjoying the outdoors in your beautyful garden, I haven't stop watching your videos if you don't see a comment from me what happen is that TH-cam keeps messing up with my connection everytime I want to watch videos it keeps making me update which it's crazy because everytime I NEED to update it deletes my notifications, I dont understand why they made this change it is very annoying, but I still love to watch your beautyful plants, I Just can't comment cuz sometimes it won't let me, thank you for sharing
Oh how strange! It’s annoying when they change things... they have also done something strange with the comments so they are not as easy to find now 😕 Thanks so much for watching I hope you are well 🌴🌺🦩🌱🍹🦋🌿
I am in the process of starting a tropical garden and recently bought a tree fern, gunnera, fan palm and fern; how can I buy one of your banana trees, I notice that you are selling one if it's not sold already? Keep up the good work, I'm inspired. Reminds me of my country of origin, Jamaic🇯🇲
Looks gorgeous looks like the tropics have you consider adding a water feature in your video I hear running water not sure if you already have a water feature
Hello! Its so relaxing visiting your garden even virtually. I have few questions. 1. Where have you bought the colourful light string? Is it solar powered? Thank you.
Hi Hannah. The garden looks great. Up in the NE all my banana leaves are shredded bar the shorter ones. Yours are in great nick. Must be well sheltered in your garden. Your ensete looks great. Rather than sell it have you considered dry storing it? Works well for me and I just leave in an unheated garage. Great Vlog and lovely tour as always. Thanks 👍
Vincenze Calzone thank you! Yes I usually dry store it but takes up too much room now 😆🌱 I don’t have a garage unfortunately 😭 Bananas are doing okay although the wind is the last few days have been pretty bad… They are only just starting to take off now really 🌴🌿🌺
@@TropicalPlantAddict Same here. Few days when the leaves were perfect, now gonners. I imagine with all your beautiful indoor bulbs to store space is more and more difficult to find. 🤔 BTW the centre island in the lawn looks great. Plus, cant believe how good the lawns looks after the invasion of the beetles. Well done you😃👍
Vincenze Calzone yes storage in my house is at full capacity 😭 I’ll see.. I might change my mind and squeeze him in somewhere 😆🌴 Thank you I really thought the lawn was done for as it looked so awful! Those gross grubs are meant to hatch July/Aug time 🤢 Then apparently within a few days they lay eggs on the lawn!! Well I’ll be keeping an eye out for those lol
If you save your egg shells and crunch them up with your hands around your Hosta you will find out that the Slugs don't like crawling across the egg shells so they'll leave your hostas alone ... I have a lot of hostas so it has really helped me keep them slug free at least as far as devouring my plants. I might get a whole here and there but the Slugs don't like the egg shells
It's funny... the slug population sometimes explodes some years. I don't know whether it's because we have a mild winter and a rainy spring or what the reason is. I guess to figure it out you have to keep track of what the winter weather was like what the spring weather was like and then what the slug population was each year. I do know they like to hide under rocks. What I'm having trouble with this year is earwigs. I've been trying to get all my pots up on those wire things you can place a pot on some have wheels so I'm just a stand. That way these daggone earwigs don't have a place to hide. I must have killed a hundred of them this week as I am moving my pots around. It seems like all my colocasia that died back this summer in the pots I brought inside have survived over the winter in the house. I just kept them in a room that isn't really heated that I kept some other house plants on shelves in front of the one window. As long as they had leaves and we're growing are maintaining leaves I watered them but as soon as they started to die back I cut off the water supply. I then every once in awhile sprinkled water on the top and torso of the soil because the bulbs had no roots so I just wanted to keep the bulb from drying out. I did the same with my caladiums brought them inside and their pots to enjoy them they died back to go to their winter rest and every once in awhile sprinkled some water on them. They're all coming back. Psalm that I bought last year on sale at the end of the summer have bigger leaves than they had last year. All my caladiums I grow outside enjoy them all summer and in the house for a month. The only thing I had trouble with was the banana I thought I could keep in the garage with the gardenia trees as long as it didn't freeze and something happened maybe I didn't water it a little bit like I did everything else. My cannas came back that I kept in the garage in their pots. And you inspired me to buy I think it's the Cleopatra Canna. I got a beautiful one and I love the variegated leaves and the variegated flower. I think I spent $20 on the plant plus shipping. I also got either an alocasia or colocasia I think it's the colocasia called Pharros mask. It only came with like two leaves on it's a tiny little thing but it's supposed to get huge it was also in the $20 range. Last year I bought a couple beautiful shiny black colocasia and added a new one to the mix this year. I'm going to do a video on all of my allocation colocasia and Canna is to get a little bigger. You inspired me last year to start to add them turn my patio in pots but now it's turned into an addiction trying to collect all the different ones. I'm running the house I'm living in right now until my house gets fixed. So I don't want to plan anything in the ground I want to be able to take everything with me when I move back. Thanks so much for the inspiration and your yard is more beautiful than last year I can't believe it could be any better but it sure is everything's so Lush and full. You could go into business being a garden designer a landscape designer!!! But I know you're an artist already you have a great eye inside your house to arrange everything with your plants.
