I left my sim by accident once when she was in a Sad mood and when I came back she was dead and she'd died of LAUGHTER so that escalated real quick I still don't know what went down. Mystery.

That's nothing I loaded a couple new households I had made and merged them and I think I might of gotten them married to start there was 2 pets I think. So I decide they should adopt and just as the one sim is leaving to bring home a kid the other dies after using the stove. I had literally only played for like 5 minutes. He wouldn't even extinguish himself.

Left it alone for one minute to tend to a cat. Mom was feeding the baby when I got up. Got back and couldn’t find the baby just the two toddlers and the parents. Checked notifications and baby was taken away due to starvation. Luckily I had saved the family to the gallery with the baby. So I deleted the family and reloaded them with the baby.

I would just like to document that, a year ago, the almighty youtube algorithm suggested this to me, even though I had never watched Sims content. I watched it, was intrigued, and, at the time, the base game was $5. I bought it, and now I have every pack, a buttload of CC, and some real strong Sims opinions that I will not apologize for.
This is so nice to hear, because that is also basically how I got into The Sims! :-D
I always saw my sister play it when I was a child, but had mostly forgotten about it, until I got recommended a video about all deaths in the sims and then got recommended more sims content. I think it was in late 2016/2017 because City Living was still fairly new... I'm happy you found fun through that!

That's what I was thinking. They progressively got easier. The first Sims was actually really hard to play. It was common to start fires, die of hunger, and get your children taken away before you got the hang of things. Going on a date could also be a death sentence for your Sims 1 sims.

Me and my friends once created a family in Sims 2 with one mother and twin girls and the mother already died when the welcome wagon came over. And we weren't even trying.
yeah i've done it on sims 2 before, I came back in the morning and my laptop was super hot and i was stuck with the notification you get when everyone in the household dies. But i'd forgot that in sims 2 you need to restock the fridge and so most of them died from starvation and all the kids were either burned or taken by social services. It was also SO messy

This wouldn’t happen to me, every time I come back there’s always a notification of like a sim asking to hangout or asking how to discipline your child sim that pauses the game.
I think after your power is cut off in the sims 4, your water will be cut off as well a few days later. 🤷

I feel like this can be done more successfully if you were to leave it running during the day with supervision, that way you could handle all the game pauses and keep updates on what's been going on, because obviously it would be way too much to record the entire time. cause i wanted to see what happened when leslie came over and more of what happened throughout. but i love your attitude, i'm glad this was in my recommended cause i'm def subbing!
I left mine unpaused for 30 minutes only and, like every electronic was broken, dishes everywhere, dirty sims, a lost dog and my neat freak sim was having a heart attack lmao.

Instead of having a phone call that can magically summon a free pair of earbuds into your pocket that is a FREAKING TARDIS, you now somehow have them appear in your pocket while doing litterally absolutely nothing. Don't worry if you fall from a 999 story building, the earbuds will be just fine and SOMEHOW NOT BREAK! Well, we don't have buildings that tall in the sims so you'll have to take my word for it.

One time I left my sims game un-paused overnight and my sim went into labor, she was at a party in the city (she lives on a tropical island), her toddler ALMOST got taken away, and she missed work.
I once did the runaway teen challenge and I left to take a really, really short shower (forgot to pause it) and my sim just died. The first time I got a “game over“ - sign in this game.

@@tsuki3752 Unless you buy up a bunch of expansion packs to have more to do and more gameplay options. Such as if you want your Sims to swim in natural water areas like the ponds and some of the creek looking areas you have to get Cottage Living or if you want your Sims to be able to woohoo in the shower you have to get the University game pack. Not sure why the chose the University pack for that since college kids aren't the only ones doing it in the shower. That part is so unrealistic.

Yeah, my cat unpaused my game once and everyone was dead, and once my sims was tired and autonomous decided to "play dead" in the pool, was horrible because it was the only sims I had. Had to create another household and I lost all my furnishing.

I accidentally fell asleep while playing the Sims 4 and when I came back, both of my 2 children and my cat were taken away, the father died from fire and my last sim, the mom, was extremely dirty and about to die from embarrassment. I was so disappointed that I left the sims for a couple months and I've never enjoyed gameplay the same again. Now I just make sims in CAS and build houses.
I remember when I played TS2 and I went out for dinner and left it unpaused accidentally. I came back and the child in the family had died of starvation, the teen had acne, the baby had been taken by social services and the mom was chilling with the social bunny. Was kinda devastating but fun times

How to break your computer/laptop:
*Leaving it overnight without some type of cooling fan (overheating)*
Most have built in fans now 💀
i'm not even sure what day i last shut off either of my computers... probably friday, and it's now tuesday.... most likely will be left on for the rest of the week as well, i only shut them off if i'm leaving the house for more then 4 hours. been doing that for decades. there is no reason for a computer to overheat just because it's left on.
Brian McDubb Brian McDubb number 1 your computer might have a built in fan , number 2 yes there is a reason for your computer to overheat if a game or some time of website is running , number 3 you probably aren’t running some time of game / website not being rude btw
@@potatosareagirlsbestfriend542 Any computer built within the last 20 years without a built-in fan has either passive cooling or some other form of cooling. If a PC doesn't have any sort of cooling, it is going to overheat in seconds. I believe a lot of newer CPUs have a passive cooling mode that allows you to start your PC and use the CPU at minimum performance, but they are locked at that level and even if you ran a game it would just be throttled so hard that the PC would not overheat.
Before i got a laptop, i rarely turned off my pc... Like maybe once a month
I once left The Sims alone and running for a full 14 hours. Household of 8, with one accident prone. Only two death, including that of a vampire neighbour who died from Sun exposure and a drowning, and one fire. Mostly, just broken appliances and rotting food everywhere...

One time I went to a friends house for 7 hours, came back and 1 of my sims died in a fire and one had a baby. Thankfully my dad heard an alarm coming from my laptop so he pressed pause and I managed to save my other sim from dying in a a fire. I stopped playing with that household after that.

Girl sometimes without even going AFK crazy stuff happens. I remember the first save file i made for Sims 4 as soon as I finished CAS and everyone got moved into the house they started checking out all the new furniture and stuff. One of my characters decided to check out the grill in the backyard and somehow she caught on fire and everyone was panicking and literally nobody tried to help so she burned to death. SO everyone was mourning and in a bad mood the rest of move-in day and I had literally just installed Sims 4 and was new to the game so i was like uh what just happened..

Ok not to be mean but litteraly every sims youtuber does that when they make this video. It's a joke. Because sometimes the sims get left unpaused for a bit. But then its done on purpose (funny right?). Lol
