American talent shows share a common template that puts forward all singers with a back sob story. Whereas swedish idol takes music and talent seriously like no other show in the world. If these swedish talents were in the US, they'd surely destroy the template, curated, factory manufactured music and the musicians. The swedish idol deserves to be a master brand that the global franchises of the same show should look up to.
