I think Caroline shouldn't have had a white theme if she was worrying about someone being bridal. There are only so many ways to wear a white formal dress without it looking formal since most women really don't wear them for many other occasions. Also, Ayan is a working model moving in high society. I'm sure a large unofficial part of her job is showing up to rich events wearing haute couture so she can promote designers.

Yeah, one thing about me, it's rare to have someone eat me up when I go out, but they definitely can't at my own party 🤣 I think Ayan was just being her usual self. No matter what anyone thinks of Stanbury, she’s the reason why RHOD exists. Andy had been trying to get Stanbury on RHOBH but she wanted to stay in Dubai and so convinced Andy to do a show in Dubai instead….. Though I’ve never got all the hype around her since Ladies of London. She was rude and mean then, but for some reason the cast were sucking up to her vying for her attention. I’m happy it aint the same in RHOD.
Very true!! I can't stand Stanbury but Andy does love her!! Lol! I've never understood the hype either but it seems like the girls really get worked up when someone is aloof and can't be bothered. She had those gals on Ladies of London panini pressed to be her friend! The things they did when it came to sucking up to her was embarrassing to watch! I'm glad it's not the same on here either! They're definitely giving her a run for her money, something that she's not used to.

This is all so true. I loathed her on ladies of london and could never understand my sister stanning for her. I love that Ayan and Lesa in particular (my two faves) pay her dust on this show. Jury still out on the others in my opinion.

Apparently Caro B. is first generation Honduran but I digress. I'm only going to skip to her mess, Brooks put all her insecurities in Sara's mouth, the clip did show us that she did say she wished her mum was closer to her so Sara replied ''then don't do that with your son, don't repeat the cycle'' then Brooks turned around and said it's her culture. That's BS, Sara also comes from a country that has customs on how to raise children so she's very much aware that in the end of the day it's still a PERSONAL CHOICE on how to raise your own children, culture be damned. For Brooks to then turn around and start screaming ''that's my culture!'' cultures are not perfect, so if her culture says she should drown her son at 14, she's gonna do it? She's ridiculous. She knows she's wrong, she knows she's gonna look like an ass on TV refusing to even put her own son to bed and she's spiralling out of control. Brooks completely lost me when she started screaming and put her hands on Sara's hair.
I agree!!! Sara never said she was a bad mother. Again, another reason why advice, solicited or unsolicited is a bad idea! You can have the best intentions and someone will find a way to twist what you said and get angry! I know Sara wishes she never said anything!! This was their best episode so far. We saw a shady side of Sarah and Brooks became Villain B. (Stansbury is Villain A of course). 😂 You could tell Sergio was taken aback by the "good English comment...but I don't feel bad. That's how Spaniards treat Latinos.

Brooke you always look beautiful while giving your recaps! Sergio was getting on my nerves while they were getting ready for the party. Hovering over her and looking at the text. Asking how he should wear his his hair. Walking around in that towel, not getting dressed. I loved Ayan and her son in the beginning modeling, super cute. Brooks should know by now that you can't be all Bostonian in these Dubai streets! When Brooks arrived she was like is that alcohol? When she was told no, she made that beeline to the bar, she wanted to get turnt up on purpose. Smh

I had to rewatch last week’s episode to ensure I wasn’t losing my mind when Brooks sat there and partially lied to Lisa. Unless production edited it, the way she relayed the story was as if Sara just came out the blue and said she needs to show affection, when that wasn’t the case. She asked, and Sara gave her opinion, in which Sara asked if she could, and b/c it wasn’t what she wanted to hear, she acted a plum fool. I get you don’t want people speaking on your parenting, but if you know it’s not true, then why get so riled up?😕
You weren't losing your mind at all!! Brooks wasn't truthful about how the conversation came up when she was talking to Lesa!! That pissed me off!!! I really don't think that Sara was coming from a bad place when she said that to Brooks, Brooks was just in her feelings because she was still mad at them saying no to her sending her son to boarding school!! Exactly, if it's not true, there's no reason to get riled up!!!
I think where Sara may have over stepped is making reference to breaking "generational cycles" it was a bit presumptuous seeing that they don't have that deep of a friendship yet.

Another great recap! Random thoughts:
-Nina walking out on her terrace to casually enjoy her 7 or 8 figure view was the best flex I’ve seen on Housewives in a long time. Forget Diana. This was everything to me.
-If you tell a supermodel to wear all white to a fancy desert party, expect a look. The train might have been a little extra but this was light work for Ayan. I really think Stanbury was mad because even with a $700k necklace on, she still was shown up by Ayan (and Lesa🤷🏽♀️). Ayan’s tagline is not a lie.
-I agree-definitely a case of two things being true at the same time. Sara is a know-it-all and overstepped a bit given that she was basing her observation on a single dinner. At the same time, Brooks asked her opinion about boarding school because she wanted to brag that she could afford boarding school, and her attempted flex backfired.
-Are the Dubai authorities watching this ready to fine these ladies for that behavior in public 😂? Those producers ran to shut that shouting down.

I think I’m an outlier when it comes to this Caroline Brooks and Sara situation. I’m team Brooks all the way! There are certain topics you don’t touch. You can’t bring up a parenting critique by starting off “you know I don’t know Adam that well”. That clearly shows that she isn’t familiar with Brooks and Adam’s relationship. I believe Sara has an overinflated sense of self and gaslit Brooks this entire episode. You can’t critique someone’s parenting relationship/style and then try to police their reaction. This topic is too sensitive, and I understand Brook’s reaction.

Im in my early 20s and I’m from the West Indies… my mom was militant and loving; And I thank her for it because that structure helped me to get where I am today. Being authoritative and loving is not mutually exclusive. So although Sara was given permission to speak (So Brookes you cant get too mad now), saying that you have to “break the generational cycle” as if it is a bad thing was offensive to me. It is a cultural thing.
I’m West Indian too (Mom’s side - Trini Dad’s side - Antiguan) so hey family lol! 🤗 Very true about both not being mutually exclusive! our family was/is still extremely affectionate so personally I was siding with Sara. Now, in all seriousness people get touchy when it comes to certain topics and Sara while she may not have meant any harm, should have kept quiet! But Brooks needs to control her temper better, all that screaming just because she’s offended is not cool!!

Find it so weird that they constantly mention the age difference and how many times Caroline’s has been married even the kids joke about it . I find it disrespectful and weird
The scene with Caroline S and Sergio in the car was a bit produced. If you rewatch it, you will see that someone else said "and someone is here in a wedding gown" (maybe a producer or something). Ayan was sitting down and they weren't at the event yet. They were still driving up to it so there was no way that Caroline and Sergio would have known or could have seen her unless they were told.
When Caroline said Ayan, Sergio was shocked cause, they couldn't see it (since they were in the car). When they arrived and walked up, Ayan noticed that they both had on trains. When Caroline got close enough she saw the back of the dress (her cape) so it did look like a wedding dress. From the front you can see it's a romper and cape but not from the back.

I may be in the minority for this: I live for Ayan, but I feel like she’s always trying to make a moment instead of being the moment if that makes sense. When you’re really that girl, you don’t have to announce it; you just are. Just my two cents
You're not alone at all!! I agree and feel the same way!! She tries way too hard! I also feel like her self esteem isn't as high as she claims it is! If you have to keep saying you're so beautiful and THAT girl every minute...you most likely don't feel that way! I try to go easy on her in these reviews but she can be a bit grating at times. I want her to just be and stop announcing it like you said!!
@@TheBrookeAshley I disagree. Ayan has high self esteem and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. She can back up everything and the shade is inspired. More people need to have that positive energy because it is contagious. Ayan is not selfish with the energy. She spreads that positivity to her family and friends. There is too much jealousy and negativity in this world. Women and especially women of color need to stand in their truth and believe they are beautiful inside and out. Consider it armor against a world that aims to devalue you at every turn. Never let anyone and I mean anyone take away your shine.

I think if your friends with a fashion killer and every time she goes all out then I wouldn't be mad if she did that I would know that's just her personality. Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought that it was Caroline Stanbury’s father who offered to pay Sergio his annual salary not to marry Caroline… It was Sergio‘s father who read it online and thought it was silly because he would support his son’s decision unlike Caroline’s father
I think his parents offered him money not to and Caroline’s was threatened with disinheritance if he married the older woman he loved as a young man. Crazy
Whether Brooks invited Sara to personally comment on how close Brooks is with her son (which I dont think she did), Sara dont know Brooks like that to make such a comment. Sara just met her with her son that evening and she hardly knows Brooks in general. So saying she needs to be closer to her son was premature, judgemental and borderline rude….. however I think Brooks is overreacting especially by saying its an attack on her culture.

I might be alone in this BUT I stand by Sara posting that message in the group chat and here is why. The dinner was the second time that Brooks had a sit down with Sara. The first was Nina's event after Stansbury's hen party. For that fact, they don't know each other well. Instead of Brooks reaching out to her over what she said, she chose to go around the group, call the ladies, and lie about what actually happened. She is trying to get enough people on her side so that she don't face the truth in what Sara said. For that fact, since everyone (but Stansbury) knew why not put it in the group chat? Everyone already know Brooks side so what better way to let them all know Sara's side?She wasn't about to call Brooks (cause she don't have an issue with her and Brooks didn't have the courtesy to do that to her) nor was she about to call the ladies one by one to tell them her side. Everyone is in a group chat so they all will get the message at the same time so there will no he said, she said, about what Sara said.
Brooks was embarrassed cause she knew she lied. I don't like liars, and blatant ones at that, so Brooks and her misdirected anger can MISS ME with that.
P.S. she was all in the comment section on IG saying that Brian was her friend of 20+ years and he has a sense of humor to where he didn't realize that kids were off limits. If they are THAT CLOSE and he cut your son umbilical cord, why does he not know that your child, the one he was present for when he came out your cooch, was not to be talked about?

Ah Brooke, I rarely disagree with you but on this I think Sara was waaaayyyy out of line, and I can’t stand Brookes but I felt her pain. Sara is delusionally judgmental and self righteous. She’s no fool and she’s not a child. You can’t ask someone for permission to disrespect their parenting, that’s just not ok. Brooke’s couldn’t have known what she was going to say so the fact she told her to go on and opine doesn’t mean she loses the right to be offended at what she said. What she said was foul and uncalled for. How do you tell a mom you’ve not spent that much time around that she needs to be closer to her son? That’s not okay, she doesn’t know the relationship Brookes has with her child so to sit there and say you need to break generational cycles and you need to be closer to your son was hugely offensive and any mom would be hurt by that. Absolutely agree. I like Ayan but she is definitely a try hard. She so desperately wants to be the NeNe Leakes of this franchise. I want her to just take it down a few notches, be herself and be authentic. Viewers can see when someone is doing the most to be the star, it never works out in their favor.
I thought Sara was some sort of life coach or therapist. Or maybe she's been in different self help scenarios. Both Chanel & Brooks initiated the conversations where Sara gave advice or commented on their issues. Chanel with her upbringing & her father & Brooks at this dinner about boarding school. I haven't see her do the same for any of the other women so why are they all in agreement that she gives unsolicited advice all the time? Chanel went a bit far with that long trane & the blonde hair. Maybe not that day. But I'm thinking it was a bit of a dig at Caroline. All of the ladies & the husbands looked nice. I like the desert theme & everyone wearing white.

I think Sarah was trying to say "You should be putting your son 'first' and either reading him a story...being there for his 'bed time routine' (your guests can entertain themselves surely for 15/20 mins)...as opposed to your house keeper doing it." However - Some of my snobbish friends are the same as Carolyn (in terms of not being 'publicly' affectionate yet more on the private) and 'militant' side using their nannies & housekeepers to raise their children but I would NEVER say that to them. Even if I had millions and had a Nanny/housekeeper, would've been/was a hands on Mummy to my son but would've never over stepped my boundaries and made my friends (who are not)... feel guilty for being different. This whole blowup between Brooks and Sara kind of reminds me of Sutton and Diana. Sara being Sutton in this analogy. Sara is trying to relate like a friend but didn't realize she stepped on a landmine. Brooks blew up not based on what Sara said, but old wounds that got reopened. Diana did the same with her miscarriage which was a little unfair as Sutton had no way to know it was so recent or traumatic. Sara, unlike Sutton, doubled down and is unwilling to apologize for escalating the situation with that passive aggressive message. This episode was really good. Ayan can be annoying but she's definitely funny. She ate Stanbury up at her event and in her confessional lol. While Ayan could have toned down how she dressed I do think having an all-white party was risky because chances are someone just might show up looking bridal-like. As for Brooks, I'm going to need her to come down from her anger and realise Sara was not being malicious. I do not disagree with what Sara said to her, however, people have to understand there are some individuals who ask for advice because they want you to confirm what they're doing and aren't looking for an objective take on their situation. That's why you just gotta keep your advice/opinions to yourself especially when it relates to sensitive topics like this one. Clearly, Brooks is not ready to receive any constructive advice pertaining to her parenting (even though she asked lol).

Sara is annoying and too much. Her telling Brooke "you should be tucking him in babe" was judgmental and annoying. Brooke was in the middle of work (filming) and entertaining and she knows her own kid. If she decides to have the nanny tuck the kid in that night that doesn't need commentary from Sara.
Then to say you need to be more affectionate with him even after admitting she doesn't know the kid and their relationship that well was extremely rude and inappropriate. She was questioning her parenting. And her asking permission to say something before saying that doesn't mean anything.
