Just having someone confess isn’t enough to ~prove~ another’s innocence (yes I know the burden is on the state, but just in general, the one confessing doesn’t mean the other person had zero involvement whatsoever). Sometimes multiple people could be the culprits but one or more of them try to take the brunt of responsibility (they all know that they’re facing life in prison without parole but they can try to spare a friend the same fate)
Not saying that’s what happened here, but you watch enough cop shows (“COPS” for instance) and it happens, but usually with drug and/or firearm possession or who stole the car… one ~claims~ that *they* did all the crimes and then picked up others that somehow didn’t think anything odd of the situation, while video shows they all did the crime together…
      My question is this…
What’s the point of going into hiding to avoid death threats, only to then have your *~CURRENT~* appearance and names shown on TV which is then available online for all to see… now everyone knows your name *AND* what you both look like

Can you read? Have you read about this case? Look up the Henry County bonfire murders case. 4 young ppl killed in 2016 & this guy was there with the killer. It took years to sort out. Ppl used to not speak about a subject unless they knew they had something to contribute. 4 young ppl gunned down at a bonfire & guess who was there with shooter? There’s other issues. You’re better than this. Take a little time to read what the ppl involved in the case knows & what this young man knows. There’s a reason it took a long time for everything to come out but think about what the ppl who had to solve that case went through to get to the truth. Don’t let ppl think for you & don’t be so quick to think that a couple of minute local news report cares whether they leave ppl who don’t watch their news believing that all those ppl I mentioned above would want to waste 8 years. Wait until you read the facts of the case. Then watch this news video again & remember that feeling because that’s your brain telling you that a lot of what we see in media is just a snapshot with a whole lot of relevant information left out. Anyway, 4 young ppl were gunned down in cold blood. This young man & his friend were both there & one of them pulled the trigger. There were twists & turns. Read about it & you’ll understand n
