Hey guys in this video I will be building a 1/24 scale Initial D FC3S RX-7 model car by Fujimi, this is the famous white Mazda FC RX-7 driven by one of the main characters - Ryosuke Takahashi in the anime/manga. I have only watched a few episodes of the first stage of the anime(will definitely finish watching the rest) and it seems that Ryosuke had a few versions of the FC throughout the entire series. I believe this kit is a replica of the very beginning stage of his FC. About the kit, it isn't exact a super detailed kit, there is no engine just like many Fujimi kits, and there aren't even any suspension parts included, there are many flaws but at least it is a fun and simple kit to put together. However, if you are a fan of Initial D and would love to build the FC then I will recommend going with Aoshima, it has much better details and fitments, which will make the model building experience more enjoyable. The charcter development on keisuke is crazy je was super cocky and didn't like takumi then 2nd stage he begins to cheer on takumi and doesn't want him to loose then 3rd stage he tells him to join him and become the best racers then 4th sage they become best friends beating everyone

Is there a safer way to do it? Feels like you can ruin the paint with slight errors.
My brother has this exact same kit, he bought it like 8 years ago. I may have to finish it now after watching this.
I know what the “mr2” thing is. It’s an optional part incase you don’t want the bubble looking back
And the battery tray is in case you wanted to motorize it

This was amazing to watch (as well as your video on Keisuke's FD)!
I am completely new to building model car kits but unfortunately I just do not have the skill/or interest in painting them. I have seen that Aoshima have a small (and very limited) lineup of Pre-Painted model kits though they seem to be out of stock everywhere.
Being as Ryosuke's car is white in the show, do you think that this model would look okay without painting once the decals are on? Thanks.
Thank you so much❤️This Fujimi kit has a lot of production mold lines that will need to be cleaned off the body, otherwise it won’t look as good as you would expect it to be. Aoshima has made the same car but the body is a lot cleaner, it even has engine parts. I would still recommend painting it. Just take it slow and work on it bit by bit. It’s worth the time and effort. It’s a totally different car when it’s painted.
