I disagree. Klopp’s contract extension is far more important to this era than any one player, and this era is nowhere near our best ever, not yet anyway.
I also feel that VVD and Alisson have been more crucial over the last four/five years. Yes, he’s consistently scored goals, but he’s also consistently gone missing in games, and his best, record-breaking season personally ended without a trophy. When Virgil went a season without being dribbled passed, we won the Champions League, and when Ali won the Golden Glove, we won the league. Salah’s a club legend for sure, but, to me at least, he’s not the best player of our recent history, or the main reason for our trophies under Klopp.

After I quit watching football since 2012 incident in Egypt "Port Said Stadium riot" - I was only following the news of our professional players around the world from time to time and Salah started to shine more than the others..
