I will definitely pray for you, the enemy fights against us when we are in the will of God for our lives. Don't be discouraged God is our refuge and helper, He never leaves you, just trust Him. Study the Bible and meditate on the Bible. I find that it is very helpful for me to meditate on the Word of God as it brings about peace. As Paul said in 2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. that means every thought that we have that is contrary to the Word of God, must be immediately stopped in our mind and you can do that with the Bible. I was 5 years of chronic illness. Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I couldn't even look at electronic screen for 5 minutes, or hold a 10-minute conversation. But God did an amazing work. And if he can do this, he can do it in you also. 😇🙏 I now have a Christian Channel where I encourage people and show them what God did in my life and that there is hope for you also. *Keep believing even when it's hard* 🙏❤️🙌🔥👆🏼 *All things are possible with God*
I would love more of these. Yes I studied with you. I have been a Christian for a very long time but I never really comprehended what God's Word meant in Hebrews 4 when talking about rest. Today, I GOT IT! It is talking about his Salvation. We should not harden our hearts but be believing while it is still today because there is a day coming soon when it will be too late to enter into God's salvation. In salvation we "rest" from trying to be justified by our works because our works are no good to justify us because our justification is a free gift from Jesus and His work on the cross. I ... GET... IT! What a revelation!

I was studying Judges chapter 6. The story of Gideon! Some notes: 1. Make yourself available for God to use you. 2. Surrender 3. Rip up your list of wounded expectations and plans and schedules bc God can exceed them beyond what we can ask and think and imagine - Gideon was called a man of valor which in definition means someone who is courageous in the face of danger, specifically in battle. Now this kind of foreshadows Gideon fighting the Midianites. - God called Gideon because God knew he would obey despite the fear and the doubts Gideon had. - there is an opportunity behind obedience. It just takes us to obey before we see it. Even if we don't see it right away, its there. - Gideon took down Baal and set up an altar for God. This might mean taking down idols and other priorities aside from God.
I studied an Elevation Church sermon that was about Ephesians 3:19-20, "And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us". The sermon is called "Lessons from Less" I really recommend it.

I was studying psalm 27:3, which lead me to psalm 91:7 and eph. 3:11-12. I learned that God is my ultimate stronghold in the fight against the wickedness that lurks in our world. By faith, through Jesus Christ, I can walk and act in confidence before God without having fear. God = no fear! I recommend to anyone read psalm 27 and 91. :) God bless you.
i had a Bible study on Hebrews 11 and it just showed me that we can have hope in the assurance that God will don what He said He would and that He has greater plan and He will use us to fulfil it❤ That we can look towards the reward we have even when being persecuted 💗 we can look and be reminded that it will all be worth if❤
I have watched this probably about three times since its been posted. Using it for both focusing on school and doing my Bible reading. I love the music and the coziness of the video. I have watched other Pomodoro videos and sometimes the music isn't the best, or you can almost feel the stress in the video as they study. But this one does not have any of that. Very well done! Yes, please make more! I studied through John 6. I learned more about Jesus' character as someone who wants to bring light into this world, not condemn it.
Now, I have watched this 4 times.I hope you do more, this was truly helpful, with keeping me focused on studying my Bible especially during the noisy and distracting days. I am not sure if I had commented before, lol. But I a studying more in depth on the Parable: “The Sower”, Fruits of the Spirit; True Worshippers (“In Spirit and in Truth”). Seeing strong connections throughout scriptures.
I Loved this. I was studying Exodus 2. What I learned was that God will make a way, because when she place her son in the river to protect him from being killed by the king. God made a way for her to be able to raise her son. I find that so amazing!!
At first I was like what even is this video🧐 but then I played it when I did my nightly bible time and it was actually awesome lol, please do more of these!! I got my entire list of chapters done in the exact amount of time. I learned about King Hezekiah and how he cleansed God’s temple and restored worship and how he invited a bunch of nations to join him in celebrating Passover. I would love another one of these videos. Today I studied on Psalms 32 on God's forgiveness. How he covers our sins and doesn't count our sins against us. Also in Romans 3:21-26 how we have freedom in forgiveness because He dies for our sins.
I said this awhile back that from watching you two I became moe interested in reading and learning my bible which is extremely hard for me to understand even with the easy to read one I have. Too many parables. So then grew my need to belong to a church which considering my anxieties made it hard but I began going in sporadically going in March. Well now I go Sunday's and Wednesday's and I love it! I don't always understand the preacher but last Sunday a church brother asked if he and his wife could help me understand better the bible, it was totally the Lord considering I hadn't said anything, unless my face shows udder confusion in church lol. I'm hearing a fantastic time feeling like I belong! I want to thank you girls for helping me change my life to live a life for my beloved heavenly Father!

I was studying the Book of Matthew too! I was reading Chapters 19 and 20 and I learned about God's Grace and How not many rich people will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven because they see Money as their god, How things on this Earth are temporary and Heaven in Eternity! That we should be like Children. Also, What is impossible for Humans, is possible with God!

i studied with you! it was sooo relaxing! I studied Luke and i learnt about the parable of the lost sheep and Jesus was talking about the woman who had a decision to look for one lost sheep and leave 99 or stay with the other sheep. I also studied a bit on Joseph and how his brothers hated him for being the favourite son! :) I also wrote down some verses that were powerful and stood out to me! and studied lots more in Luke! A teen girl's guide to Christian living" by Karen Finn. Each chapter focuses on a theme and three 'weeds' to continually guard against in the garden of our heart. Ultimately, we can overcome covetous desires by guiding our heart to seek God: Psalm 119:36, Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

i studied matthew 3, it was awesome and showed how John the Baptists submission to God led to many hearts being prepared (realizing the sinfulness) to receive Jesus' salvation.
Went through exodus 1-2! My mind is constantly blown when I reread scripture! Huge thing that stuck out was the fact that Moses’ sister was the one that asked if Pharoah’s daughter wanted her to fetch a wet nurse and that wet nurse was Moses’ mom! My goodness God is such a comforter!
I did the study with you! Thank you it was a much needed devotion time to God's holy words. I studied the book of Titus which was a reminder that we should always be devoting ourselves to doing what is good 💞.

I have been super busy lately, suffering from Imposter Syndrome at work, and pretty much all areas, social groups, & communities in my life. Imposter Syndrome, mixed with my fear of rejection that stems from a traumatic memory when I was in 6th grade (I'm 22 now). I can literally visualize the bad memory in my brain-- it's like a clump of soil which produces malicious, dry, exhausting thought avenues/"roots" that stop me from sharing the Gospel and the love of Christ with others. I took this hour of Pomodoro to just sit down with the Lord to write all the thoughts in my brain, which was super helpful in rationalizing my own toxic thoughts that I have given life to, and putting them against the Truth-- the Word of God. Jesus is so patient with me, as I've been carrying this toxic memory around with me for over 10 years ;-; and tbh it's such a stupid memory.... Like i'm genuinely angry that this stupid rejection from 6th-freaking-grade has caused me so much pain and ruined so many opportunities for me because I was afraid to take a leap of faith! I am grateful to have a loving Heavenly Father who encourages us and lovingly disciplines us to follow Him. Why would I EVER want to hide the love that Christ gave me?! Why would I EVER hesitate to share it with the broken, and even in the mundane moments of my life?! My prayer is that we may take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ so that we may discern His will and live a life that is pleasing to Him. 💛 ALSO, to surround ourselves with fellow followers of Christ who will remind us to follow Him, and who will remind us of who we are in Christ.

I just started reading the Bible so I am ready John. I just finished chapter 12. I am learning more about how Jesus lived when on Earth. I use HEAR at the end of a chapter.( highlight, explain, apply, respond). I have heard of SOAP I just feel HEAR works better for me. I also circle important words. I highlight important verses. After each section of the chapter I summarize it on a sticky note or the margin if there is room. I have the Jesus Bible so on some pages there is room and some there is not. That is what I do to study the Bible.
as i was listening to your podcast from October 13th 2020 and i am listening and the message that came thru my head when i was note taking and the question i have for your next podcast is how do we break free from sin? how do we ask god for forgiveness? how do we pray in those subjects how do we keep up in prayer to have a closer relationship with god. My soul has always been with GOD. but how do we know for sure he forgives us and answers prayers?
I love this bible study with I was studying Philemon. I learn an example from paul that act in christ like manner by put his self as an object of reconciliation to act that way as well that was so great I wiil enjoy it.

Now, I have watched this 4 times.I hope you do more, this was truly helpful, with keeping me focused on studying my Bible especially during the noisy and distracting days. I am not sure if I had commented before, lol. But I a studying more in depth on the Parable: “The Sower”, Fruits of the Spirit; True Worshippers (“In Spirit and in Truth”). Seeing strong connections throughout scriptures.

I Loved this. I was studying Exodus 2. What I learned was that God will make a way, because when she place her son in the river to protect him from being killed by the king. God made a way for her to be able to raise her son. I find that so amazing!!

I learned about King Hezekiah and how he cleansed God’s temple and restored worship and how he invited a bunch of nations to join him in celebrating Passover. Hezekiah was the most similar to King David and King Solomon then all the other Kings.

I would love another one of these videos. Today I studied on Psalms 32 on God's forgiveness. How he covers our sins and doesn't count our sins against us. Also in Romans 3:21-26 how we have freedom in forgiveness because He dies for our sins.
I said this awhile back that from watching you two I became moe interested in reading and learning my bible which is extremely hard for me to understand even with the easy to read one I have. Too many parables. So then grew my need to belong to a church which considering my anxieties made it hard but I began going in sporadically going in March. Well now I go Sunday's and Wednesday's and I love it! I don't always understand the preacher but last Sunday a church brother asked if he and his wife could help me understand better the bible, it was totally the Lord considering I hadn't said anything, unless my face shows udder confusion in church lol. I'm hearing a fantastic time feeling like I belong! I want to thank you girls for helping me change my life to live a life for my beloved heavenly Father!

I was studying the Book of Matthew too! I was reading Chapters 19 and 20 and I learned about God's Grace and How not many rich people will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven because they see Money as their god, How things on this Earth are temporary and Heaven in Eternity! That we should be like Children. Also, What is impossible for Humans, is possible with God!

i studied with you! it was sooo relaxing! I studied Luke and i learnt about the parable of the lost sheep and Jesus was talking about the woman who had a decision to look for one lost sheep and leave 99 or stay with the other sheep. I also studied a bit on Joseph and how his brothers hated him for being the favourite son! :) I also wrote down some verses that were powerful and stood out to me! and studied lots more in Luke! I enjoyed having you both studying your Bible alongside me (virtually). :) During this hour I studied what the Bible says about covetousness through a book titled "Is Your Fruit Sweet or Sour? A teen girl's guide to Christian living" by Karen Finn. Each chapter focuses on a theme and three 'weeds' to continually guard against in the garden of our heart. Ultimately, we can overcome covetous desires by guiding our heart to seek God: Psalm 119:36, Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

Went through exodus 1-2! My mind is constantly blown when I reread scripture! Huge thing that stuck out was the fact that Moses’ sister was the one that asked if Pharoah’s daughter wanted her to fetch a wet nurse and that wet nurse was Moses’ mom! My goodness God is such a comforter!

I have been super busy lately, suffering from Imposter Syndrome at work, and pretty much all areas, social groups, & communities in my life. Imposter Syndrome, mixed with my fear of rejection that stems from a traumatic memory when I was in 6th grade (I'm 22 now). I can literally visualize the bad memory in my brain-- it's like a clump of soil which produces malicious, dry, exhausting thought avenues/"roots" that stop me from sharing the Gospel and the love of Christ with others.
I took this hour of Pomodoro to just sit down with the Lord to write all the thoughts in my brain, which was super helpful in rationalizing my own toxic thoughts that I have given life to, and putting them against the Truth-- the Word of God.
Jesus is so patient with me, as I've been carrying this toxic memory around with me for over 10 years ;-; and tbh it's such a stupid memory.... Like i'm genuinely angry that this stupid rejection from 6th-freaking-grade has caused me so much pain and ruined so many opportunities for me because I was afraid to take a leap of faith!
I am grateful to have a loving Heavenly Father who encourages us and lovingly disciplines us to follow Him. Why would I EVER want to hide the love that Christ gave me?! Why would I EVER hesitate to share it with the broken, and even in the mundane moments of my life?!
My prayer is that we may take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ so that we may discern His will and live a life that is pleasing to Him. 💛 ALSO, to surround ourselves with fellow followers of Christ who will remind us to follow Him, and who will remind us of who we are in Christ.

I just started reading the Bible so I am ready John. I just finished chapter 12. I am learning more about how Jesus lived when on Earth. I use HEAR at the end of a chapter.( highlight, explain, apply, respond). I have heard of SOAP I just feel HEAR works better for me. I also circle important words. I highlight important verses. After each section of the chapter I summarize it on a sticky note or the margin if there is room. I have the Jesus Bible so on some pages there is room and some there is not. That is what I do to study the Bible.
as i was listening to your podcast from October 13th 2020 and i am listening and the message that came thru my head when i was note taking and the question i have for your next podcast is how do we break free from sin? how do we ask god for forgiveness? how do we pray in those subjects how do we keep up in prayer to have a closer relationship with god. My soul has always been with GOD. but how do we know for sure he forgives us and answers prayers?
