Even after you remove the battery and the filter its still a pain in the ass to change it

Thanks, changed mine on the same side... taking out air filter box helped with access.
Still, took a while fitting everything back in place (the air box and tubes are very annoying), with some swearing, plus I've dropped a torx bit down the bay and had to retrieve it... typical 😆

It is for changing the main lights, the parking lights are changed from the engine compartment.

You are giving wrong information in this video. To change the parking light on the right side of this Opel Astra H model, you should remove the black plastic tube that goes to the air filter, you don't have to remove the whole air filter box. Just the black tube in front of the lamp.
