So to answer your question, the cable coming off the helmet was for the monocle on the helmet that had an image from the pnvs system on the nose, the gun also slaved to it through another system. And this is absolutely an A model apache, I was a crew chief and maintainer on A model and D model apache helicopters, ID say its a 9 out of 10.just a couple small discrepancies with panels and fastners but that's about it.... oh and the cockpit displays were not red,it is a lot of black. We actually used black paint pens to touch up anything that was worn down and not black.

Electrical cord plugs in the aircraft for comms oxygen masks are used in the air force in the army above 10,000 feet we used small oxygen units when I was an ALSE specialist aviation life support equipment specialist I had to fill a few lol

Cable will be for the coms don't think helicopter pilot's use oxygen don't go high enough!? I'd be sanding all them horrible seam lines off and re painting it with my airbrush and giving it a weathering effect exhaust suit dust on landing gear n all that n wiring on the weapons systems but I'm an armour modeller myself and this is what I do with my model's when building them in 1.48 amd 1.35 scale I bought the 1.18 huey as hobby boss bought the moulds and put it out as a model kit for people to do there own paint and detail! But it's the same one you reviewed a while back as a toy thing but now it's as a model kit just been released!

Former Apache guy here. The bottom side would be covered in oil. There’s an old saying in that community “keep the greasy side down”.

I actually saw the real ah 64 apache when they visited here in my country and i had that model too. Very cool and detailed.
Helicopter crews don't typically use oxygen masks. They don't operate at high enough altitudes to need them.
Supplementary Oxygen could be needed for flights in excess of 10,000 feet

thats is in fact the a version of the apache because the d model of the apache has the radar dome on top of the rotor blades
