The Shardlake character was interesting and well-played by the actor, but the show was spoiled by having too many glaring anachronisms for the period, which made it so unrealistic that I spent more time scoffing at them than following the plot.

I think i did not look to much into the English Renaissance to see the unrealism in it (except the London Streets.... im longing for a Production that is not grey and muddy....)
