Michael Gudinski sold Mushroom Records many years ago and sold out all the artists that were on his label back then and those artists lost control of their rights to their own recordings which most of are now no longer available. This has escalated the price of many CDs that are now difficult to get. He later formed Bloodline Records with Warren Costello, but both are now dead and that company is now operated by Gudinski’s son. I’ve seen Bongo singing many years ago and he is a great lead singer. I’m not quite sure why Skyhooks didn’t have him as their lead singer and did another album after Shirl passed away.
Just such a great time capsule of an interview. The historical record has another brick in it.
Always liked Bongos guitar playing..... Great interview as well :)
Great interview.
Bob is a bloody legend!
Great interview. ‘There’s a bit of crap in there -ol55!”

Fascinating stuff, but not even a mention of Hot For The Orient.
