Thank goodness you got around to these. I just started Zestiria, and it’s hard finding combos on YT that aren’t hacked somehow.
Thats weird theres a lot of combo vids out there that arent hack too its just that the hack ones has more views
@@vhanzyzone Right? Until I got the game I thought Mikleo had bow moves outside of fusion, because every video I saw had them hacked in...

Vhanzy Oddly enough, not terribly. I kind of like Mikleo’s basic moveset. It can look pretty fancy once you work his spells into chains.
And here I thought I had mastered Sorey and Zestiria's combat! 😅

You can’t link artes like that because it’s impossible he’s using mods basically.
@@NoireUwU theres a skill that gives you infinite arte chains in zestiria. minus salamander and zaveid 2, this entire video is possible in game without mods.
@@mystearia5441 yeah I figured this out a little later I assumed it was only possible modded because it says removed arte pause in the description.

yeah arte pause is just how the game will freeze for a frame everytime you hit the enemy with an arte, this is removed to make it look smoother for rin's videos :D
At 50:31, was that intentional? If it was, hats off to you. Starfall would actually have benefited in the Hidden Arte list since it actually has useful properties(Iframes).
Good project sir. I await the serpahim, mainly Laliah and Dezel since they have the most fun spells. TOZ did well to give spell caster lots of priority.
After review, I would say no, and it was a coincidence that worked out in my favor. It looks cool nonetheless.

Mastering them takes way too long... so i want to choose a the titles i will most likely build around there abilities
for example i want Alisha to be able to have high Stun Rate and Stun Damage Rate. I am no sure witch title will give me any of these...

Personally I like the way they use multiple elements but Sorey feels unoriginal.

Which part of him is unoriginal though? I haven't played most of the older games so I don't know what make Sorey is unoriginal since ToZ was my first game. And I've only played like ToB, ToA and ToE
Jack Lee A lot of his artes are very similar to other characters. He just doesn’t stand out this series’s ocean of sword users.

@@sometwatwithtoomuchfreetim3842 I guess the only that's original about Sorey is the Armatization. But after I looked at the older games gameplay, originality in the protagonist's movesets are not an issue
Every time i see these videos...i remember just how bad Zesty's battle camera was (as well as many action rpgs in general when in tight spaces). Thank god this isn't using the multiplayer camera angle which makes things much worse lol. On another note...also remember my first fight against the earth temple's Minotaur boss was pretty much 90% of the fight being a close up 1st person shot of it's crotch lol.
Awesome video, I understand that this tales of game doesn't have your favorite battle system, but do you have any tips that'll make mastering the system easier?
That's a tough one. While I summarize Zestiria and Berseria as "mash x and o" there is nuance to these videos. The first thing that comes to mind is awareness of your tier placement. There is always a lot going on, as you see in the video. I try to make it a priority to remember what tier place I'm in during a combo.
