Join a club or something that your crush is in so you have an excuse to see them more 3. Become friends with their friends (it’s ok if you cant) Haha I’m kinda tired so I can’t really think of any other ones rn.

I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death. I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner is. Also, you would more likely be much closer to a person who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a partner or spouse. People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it is with a romantic partner or spouse.

I am in a pretty tight situation, and am seeking assistance, please help. So when I was in Elementary School, I befriended a classmate, and well we got along pretty well. I didn't notice it back then but, I actually had, and still do have a crush on him. We currently go to the same High School, but we haven't spoken to one another for 4 years! When we cross paths we tend to exchange glances, (probably because we knew each other) when the eye contact is broken, after some time passes we will look at each other again (What I am trying to say here is that, we will look at each other several times, even after eye contact is broken, we will forge it again). We pretty much have the same route to school, so we sometimes bump into each other, the atmosphere is a bit awkward, and at those times we don't really look at each other, (talk about awkward...) (I forgot to mention that we don't share any classes, so we only see each other in recess or on the way to school, the both of us are also surrounded by our own friend groups, well yeah, we don't really have a reason to talk to each other, which is why I will try changing things up a bit). I think that it would be a good idea to smile at him, and if he returns it, I might as well wave, and maybe I'll even approach him and start a conversation, if course when the moment's alright. I don't want to come off as creepy or obsessive, but I had realized my feelings last year, and I want to try to reconnect, we shared some good memories together.
