Thanks so much. I bought a switch online that came with no directions and my GP6 had the same tailcap switch assembly. Was afraid I would tear it up and after watching your video I had the old switch out and the new one installed in under 1 minute.

Thanks for the video! FYI, that "pressure stud" is a drive screw; typically used to quickly and semi-permanently attach nameplates to machinery. Very fast, no tapping required.

Wow, I was just upgrading an ol' 6P from my OEF days and came across your channel - thanks and great instruction.

Thanks! I was spinning the crap out of that allen-screw with no luck. Helped me a lot. I hate the twist-on/momentary stock one.

Gun_Point. Sounds like your dog has great "taste" in flashlights!

Good freakin' grief! After all this time of hunting for Z59 caps, frowning at the thought of terribly expensive complete aftermarket clicky caps, fearful of the imports but loving the function of the McClicky in various other brands AND THEN reading about and watching videos of folks driving a punch through their original boot not to mention potentially causing other damage to their light OR themselves, I follow this vid, take my Leatherman to this aluminum disc and with very little effort at all, it popped right out... EXTREME JAW-DROPPING FACEPALM... actually, other more colorful expletives!!! Get ready delivery guy! Oh yeah, thanks for the concise, fairly thorough vid.

Hello Matt, I have a Z2 that I dropped years ago and was wondering if these aftermarket ends will work on it as well?

I've always just called the the "DellSuperMan" Switch because that's who makes them. The internal part of the switch is made from a Judco.
Here is where you can get them.
