Not sure if it exactly what you meant, but levels in mm1 felt allot more open compared to puzzles.
In a way it is like comparing annoyed open world shooters to corridor shooters.

Yeah, Mario Maker 1 does hit different. MM2 has a left hook to the jaw and MM1 has a swift kick to where the sun don’t shine.

MM2's boo button was the best addition for players, but the worst addition for people who like to watch streamers suffer through unfiltered hot garbage.

I'm surpursed they have implemented a feature that shows the average deaths/lifes on a certain level. It would really help show which levels are complete garbage.

@@dereptor I still play it. It’s way better. It’s not completely different, just a better physics engine. Spikes are better, munchers are smaller, you can spin grab with items in smw, more triple jumps in NSMBU, among other small things like that.
why couldnt they just add 100 man to smm2… smh

it would be cool to see you do an "Endless" 100 Mario challenge where you take the lives you had in the previous run and start a new run immediately after with those remaining lives, just die in the first level until the lives you have match the end of the previous run, and see how many runs you could complete like that.

I thought super mario maker levels were so much less detailed than smm2, but then realized that was just troll levels, there's some crazy levels in smm1

My god this is amazing. I've missed watching SMM1. I've been returning to old videos of the legends such as yourself playing 100 man. It was is and will always be far more enjoyable. SMM2 just doesn't have as much charm.
