    POPE BENEDICT XVI: “”People should not fear God, thinking he is always ready to punish, but rather they should love him because he is always ready to forgive.
    God is not a relentless sovereign who condemns the guilty, but a loving father whom we must love not out of fear of punishment, but because of his goodness.
    The Lord is a God who is just, but always ready to reveal himself as merciful and compassionate.”

    Replace the word "fear" with "respect" and it makes more sense to me. Or when your Mom told you "Wait til your Dad gets home", that's how I feel about it. Love your father but fear the consequences if you do wrong.

    So this is probably a weird question. But when Father Pine was talking about the reverential fear and how it's about simply the fact that god is so overwhelmingly existentially rich that would would cease to exist if He merely revealed His full Glory to us.
    Would this same effect apply to the angels and demons?
    And if so does this mean Lucifer also has this reverential (or perhaps better is existential, since Lucifer hates God) fear?
    And if Lucifer does, how would we reconcile that since it's a good kind of fear?

    Also the meaning and hint is in Genesis 22, when God says to Abraham that he feared the Lord, Abraham knew God would raise Isaac from the dead and Abraham knew God is faithful to his promises, so to fear the Lord is to do God's will in troublesome times with faith a greater good will come, maybe not in this life but it will.

  • @josephnewell9352
    @josephnewell9352 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Makes sense. You can respect someone but act against them, "with all due respect." For instance, I have respect for the office of the Pope, but I don't fear the Pope. And if a Pope speaks against God, I will speak against that Pope.
    God is the ultimate power in the universe, therefore we should only fear Him and His power/ability, and therefore He is the only real hope since He is in complete control.
    It starts as fearing the consequences, but as we love Him more it becomes fearing the harming of that relationship.

      @conovan5081 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I do prefer shoulder to shoulder but remember that upside-down cross is not bad or satanic, it is the cross of Saint Peter, the modern association with the devil is because the "satanic rituals" are just a mockery of the Catholic Church, the pentagram is also 'ours'

    • @batmaninc2793

      Firstly, it is shoulder-to-shoulder.
      Secondly, it's not that big of a deal.
      Thirdly, an upside-down cross is just the cross of St. Peter, who didn't want to be crucified like Christ for he didn't feel himself worthy of being crucified as He was.
      Based.

  • @lempereur7503
    @lempereur7503 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Yeah no. These are the TRUTHS or at least half-truths.
    We are all the One Infinite Creator and Infinite Creation. Nothing is "partly" GOD everything is completely GOD.
    Unconditional Love is the most powerful thing in the Universe. It is the basis of reality. This is why men such as Paramahansa Yogananda's body never rotted or why the real loving people never seem truly old. In order for humans to "evolve" we must love each other. We must be the embodiment of love.
    We are not the only sentient beings in the Universe imo. I know you guys like criticizing/destroying people who questioned and people who had dreams and visions (such as Giordano Bruno).
    The Annunaki along with others came here hundreds of thousands of years ago, built temples, structures etc. It doesn't really matter whether we are a product of them or if we came from another planet. In fact Yawheh was probably a powerful Annuni, who gave Constantine signs and whatnot.
    There are densities/levels to consciousness. Even a rock is conscious, it doesn't experience like us, but it is there.
    Think of a colony of ants. One ant is a complete NPC, forget about it. Just a moving little thing. But a colony of ants. Holy gosh. A colony can do anything. A colony can build towers. A colony can defeat any enemy/predator.
    Imagine what humans could do as a collective. That is why when many people are in one place (like cities) technological progress is usually made.
    The higher density beings, yes such as Bashar and Ra are a collective consciousness of many lower-density beings (such as us humans).
    This might have went completely over your head. But do spend time to read it. It is true, I hope you don't take this down etc.
    My unconditional love to you too.

    I know what fear is. Nothing you've said here truly addresses the question "Should I fear God?" That's a Yes or No question. You're welcome to blabber on with your word-salad, but at least preface your baloney with Yes or No. Instead you launch straight into made-up definitions that have no foundation either in the dictionary or the Bible.

      God is not your Bud. He does not let you slide. You can confess and he will forgive but you must still be punished for your sins. Absolution does not save you from punishment but will keep you out of hell./ divine Mercy is your chance to escape the dreadful punishment that you will be afflicted with. The God of the old testament is the same one in the new. Sin is an abomination and carries the same punishment as in the old testament. There is a possibility we will all be set on fire in WWIII . War is a punishment for sin. If the world repents God may have mercy on you.
