Swaminwhanse your dhamna talk is great. Swaminwhanse knowing dhamna in depth isn't it very helpful to clear any misunderstanding s rather than going in blind faith or not knowing the exact path and it would lead us without drowning in the unknowing
“Buddhasasana” is far more important than the religion called “Buddhism” Yes that is correct. Buddhasasana is called “The word of the Buddha”. Buddha+sasana, here sasana is sasuna, It is The Massageof the Buddha. Not a long sermon. It explains what is happening inside you. That is about thoughts and mind. Nothing more than that. That is what people want to know. They can understand them and live peacefully. Buddha never said about Karma.
Sorry to say that the term KARMA is not in the teachings of the Buddha - The term used by Buddha is KAMMA means actions - be careful when taking about the teachings of the Buddha
THEORY OF THE KARMA IS A SATAN'S LIE WHICH INVENTED TO BYPASS GOD! James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
I've seen you on Facebook as well. A hardcore Christian proclaiming himself as the king of Sri Lanka and slandering Buddhism as your only purpose in life from a foreign country. However, I will counter your argument for the sake of any reader of this comment. In Buddhism, goodness is not viewed as a gift bestowed by an external, unchanging deity but as the natural result of one's own intentional actions, guided by the law of kamma. All beings possess the potential for goodness, which is cultivated through right effort, ethical conduct, and mental development. The consistent and impartial law of kamma ensures that wholesome actions lead to positive outcomes, just as harmful actions lead to suffering. Unlike the theistic belief in an external source of goodness, Buddhism emphasizes personal responsibility and the intrinsic capacity of each individual to develop wholesome qualities through their own efforts. The path to Nibbāna resides in understanding and practicing the teachings of the Buddha, rather than relying on divine intervention. Thus, in Buddhism, the source of goodness is not an external deity but the mindful and intentional actions of the individual, governed by the unchanging law of karma. To put it simply, individual actions determine one's future, not the arbitrary will of a deity. It’s ironic and somewhat amusing to use a quote from the Bible as evidence of truth, relying on the very source that one is trying to validate.
Seems to be this is all about some mindfulness lecture nothing about Buddhism.....nothing teach about how you follow Buddhism........this is a positive thinking lecture..

What is the difference between doing good thing and doing good merits.
If there is no self.... How come there is merit , especially merit that gets passed on from life to life.
