What he did was dishonest but at the time, was not a crime. No one went to jail for the Quiz Show Scandals. They did try to ban him from TV and Radio, he did buy a station and did obtain an FCC license. Like him or hate him, he did make a comeback and found some redemption few succeed at.

I didn't like how the audience game took up time that a game could've been played. However, the good thing about it is that it gave those in the audience who weren't contestants in regular game play a chance to win some money.

@TheMrZ300 With the soap opera becoming a dying breed, you'd think that they'd start bringing back some of these old-school fave's like TJW, Tic Tac Dough, Concentration, $100, 000 Pyramid, and Match Game, to name a few. However, it looks like they opt for sleazy trash talk shows like Mister(I say so very guardedly) Springer's.
I like the red suit Jack is wearing.
That Devil picture on the wheels looked a little too much like Jack. The audience segment took too much away from the main game.

PRAISE THE LORD for people like him today, and for being able to proclaim it publicly on TV in olden times without incident!

Although Jack Barry was Jewish, his two wives, Marcia Van Dyke and Patte Preble, were Episcopalian and Protestant. His business partner, Dan Enright was Jewish, and, after his first wife died, he was in a relationship with Susan Stafford, who was a Christian. After Dan died on 5/22/92, she had a touching tombstone made for him, including the Star of David and a Holy Cross, complete with a Tic-Tac-Toe board, with a three "X" victory, and a brief testimony of his life. Both tombstones can be viewed on Find-A-Grave's website.

@Whammiesrule Hey if you do not like Game Shows (like some of my family members and my ex-teacher i wish i have another teacher back in middle school but i do like my high school teacher during my last two years of high school) then do watch it a all i too a big game show fan from The Price is Right to Wheel of Fortune to Family Feud to Card Sharks to Tic Tac Dough to Etc. so do us at you so what you at a favor and STOP TELL US WHAT TO WATCH.
and Jack Barry and his buddy Dan Enright shouldve gone to prison for the 50's quiz scandals. and they should have been banned from TV forever! and Jokers wild was one of the shittiest game shows anyway
