If you’ve never been to Donegal then you may not know what Football Special is. But if you have then you will know that Donegal people love it. It’s been the Number One choice for generations wanting to quench their thirst. We lost count of the number of people who told us to try Football Special since we started our journey. The legends and myths that surround this iconic product of Ramelton are many and varied. So to learn the true story behind it and to sample it for ourselves we headed to McDaid’s to get the full story at source. Unfortunately, they refused to reveal the secret receipe to us!
