- I raced the Erzbergrodeo prolog for the first time with a KTM 890 ADVENTURE R and it was... FAST !
Second chance was tricky with loads of bumpy sections and dust.
Got qualified for the main race with a stock adventure bike 😱

The speed it reaches is impressive and on that type of terrain, you are using the original rims size? Tyre? I'm thinking about putting on thinner rims to put enduro tires on

I guess Lyndon Poskitt was watching you riding that powerful Duke attentively, he seems to prefer smaller engine size, lighter and faster but it's a skill to keep it upright while your rear end is all over the place, hold on to it but keep your arms loosen and relax at the same time push it forward :)

Overall the run looked pretty good, but is the constant throttle blipping really necessary? I sometimes had the impression that you could've been a lot smoother on the gas without loosing time and more importantly traction.
Keeping it right on the edge of the meat to help steer with the back end.
I don’t know I’m just drive like that .
From this POV it all looks so easy and as if anyone can do it.! :)

Im now 33years old and I start to practice motorcycle at 3,5years old 😀.
But for sure for doing the prolog you don’t need that mutch experience.

@@GordinneOffRoad Just the slip on, no mid pipe or cat removed? Sounds really aggressive, but then you are banging off the rev limiter, which is way beyond my skills unless is miss a shift 😂

@@GordinneOffRoad even on the 1190R the ABS is unbelievable sometimes, try it with ABS off and you need twice the distance to stop. Very nice aggressive riding ! How did your time compare to the Tenere 700 from Paul ?

Very nice video. Please don't use a rear camera. Every time you use the backview in the edit, we want to see what is in the front. Only use it when you want to show something like an opponent.

Its a cool bike but too heavy and too fast for me. Id rather prefer a 450 four stroke or 250 2 stroke for enduro racing.
KTM must be paying you a whole lot to be riding a big bike on a track meant for small bikes.
