When my boyfriend was 17 he was diagnosed with ALL leukemia. He was given a 20% chance to survive. His Make A Wish was to go to Universal with his family including his half sister who lived in a different state. Luckily he got a bone marrow transplant and is still alive today and healthy at 25 years old. He still talks about that trip an how much it meant to have his family together and not think about what was going on.
That’s awesome to hear he recovered! Happy for you both

your make a wish sponsor at the beginning of this video, it sounded like you were holding back tears as you were going through the lines. I'll admit i was tearing up too, as hearing about this reminded me of someone i lost in grade school many years ago, and if the family knew about make a wish, then that person probably would be here or at least had a happier life, as i heard they were not happy near the end.

listening to my mom talk softly to the pediatrician during a checkup was the first time I remember experiencing ASMR, before I even knew what the sensation was! I really love the "impersonal attention" premise ❤ I could totally see a DnD roleplay with this sort of trigger, where your party member is trying to explain to a cleric how you got injured/cursed or something 😂

Love the charity that you are supporting. I spent a lot of time in and out of doctor's offices and hospitals as a kid. And even though it was nothing dire in my case thankfully, it was still a huge bummer. Little things can make such a huge difference in those situations.

can’t tell u how much the make a wish support means to me. i was lucky enough to receive a wish from them when i was a small child and my illness was at it’s worst.
it truly revived my joy as a kid and meant the world to my family. it’s forever in my heart. 💌
Not only is this relaxing, it reminds me of my mama and how she can’t help me with my doctors appointments anymore (I’m a minor and she’s passed, this really helps me heal)
Thank you for bringing awareness to the Make a Wish foundation! I was a make a wish kid and used my wish to bring me and my family to Hawaii. It was an amazing experience and they really do everything they can to make you happy. Thankfully I’m alive and kicking but I always think of the impact of that experience.

I don't usually comment on videos but this one felt really nostalgic for me in a way. I spent my childhood in and out of hospitals, from bumps and scratches to an illness that almost killed me as a child. Watching this reminds me of when my mom would go with me to the hospital or even to doctors appointments but in a lot more of a relaxed environment.
Knowing that you and others are working with Make-A-Wish really is an awesome thing you're doing. Keep up the amazing work 😊

As someone who's a fan of uncommon and cute nicknames (I use Sugarbug/Babybug, Bumblebee, Birdie, etc) this melted me immediately
My sweet, former student got to go to Disney with Make a Wish. He’s no longer with us, but his passing was announced on local news, because he was so positive and hysterical and wonderful. Make a Wish may have been a small part of his little life. But I like to think it encouraged that creative mind of his to keep imagining and looking up. He was a precious gift to all of us! ❤

I actually liked going to my annual physicals as a kid with my mom, had the same kind pediatrician till I aged out and went to college, and all the exams were relaxing ❤
Im so sad as severe disabled person, didn't know about this earlier 😢 Maybe meeting one of my childhood idols back then, would make me more positive about the future 💔
