    Drive in wash! I love it. Great vid showing how much of Alaska's freight moves.

      Kingcome Inlet is in Canada. Near the top end of Vancouver island.

    This is hands down the best job ever. Lots of responsibility but killer views and jobs. I'll get some video of my lcm on the crowded lake of Washington in Seattle. Lol. Looks like at 1:20 you put the boat sideways to current to push off the sand bar. Very smart.

    That takes some serious skill and guts to take a big boat like that up a river that's just barely deep enough. It would be interesting to hear what the process was for getting unstuck at 1:20.

      The process was: fill coffee cup & wait for tide.

    Great job how deep is the river you went up ?

    • @Teakspiller
      @Teakspiller  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The river is about 3-12 feet deep depending on the tide.

      @@Teakspiller At high tide is the river current pretty minimal? Like, could a kayaker make it up to the townsite? Or is it always pretty swift?

    • @Teakspiller
      @Teakspiller  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@daveachuk its always moving pretty swiftly. Probably at high slack 2-4 knots.
