How to make a skinny sunflower petal for flower wreaths - Easy DIY with Carrie's Wreath Creations

Thank you for watching this video as I show you how to make a skinny petal for flower style wreaths! I use this petal in some of my sunflowers and for accents near the centers of my flower style wreaths. This petal has some similarities with the Star Trek petal and is great because it does not show ANY cut edges!

A few notes:
I used poly burlap, but you can use deco mesh or fabric mesh also.
I used a wood burning tool to cut my 10x10" squares. Make sure you have a square...for example if your mesh is 10.5" wide then you need to cut it at 10.5" long.
You can find small rubber bands in the hair section at the dollar store. I also got my crafting clips there.
