I dont see this film/movie doing very well this weekend The world of movie distribution has changed alot in the past 10 to 15 years This film is geared more for the 40 and over crowd, it would have done great on netflix The problem is only children go to the big silver screens anymore under 25 ... and looking at the films over the past 15 years we have all been conditioned to this new reality...thats why todays films on the big screen are cartoons, comic book super heros and badly done big budget flop retreads of 30 year old great films This type of film will not play with the under 25 year old crowd... but to those over 40 years old with a big screen and surround sound and there own snacks...this film would have been a huge hit had it been piped thur amazon prime, netflix, or hu lu Bottom line... rotten tomattos comments didnt like this film so im not spending $75 for me and my woman to watch what is probably a poorly done film at the theater to be someone's else's tool guinea pig when i can watch it probably free in 3 weeks on a streaming service We have to face reality... Hollywood sucks at making decent film, for the big screen... even the god father 1&2 would have never been made today and if they did, it would SUCK ROYALLY its time to accept this new devide, grown up intelligent films should only be released on home streaming services , if its a cartoon, a comic bock super hero, or a retread big budget flop... then the big silver screen Thats just the way it is now, we dont make the new rules but everyone needs to learn to accept the new reality If anything, make this a double feature... a 2 for 1 movie, a double header just pair it with despicable me 3 or the wonder woman film from a few weeks back... then you (might) see some viewership eyeballs on this screen But its just the wrong film for the people that go to the big silver screen, its not what 12 year old boys are into And marketing to these kids grandmas / great grandpas was very ennimic at best Im 55 male, and just learned of thus film 2 days ago, it was badly advertised but even so, i have no interest in going to an expensive movie house to gamble that it wont be boring and badly done...if netflix, then yes me and my woman will be watching Prop
A Random koala Thats exactly correct... a film like this is not meant for 6 to 22 year old boys, its not what that age group of movie goers would be into as to war films. If this war film was geared more to Iraq and afganistan, or Ukraine ...then there would be more of an appeal to that age of generation The odds are pretty good that your generation has never fired more rhen 20 rounds thur an M1 carbine grande 5 shot rifle the preferred weapon of ww2 fighters... but id bet you and your generation have shot 1000s of rounds thur a AK47 Or a AR 15... its the modern-day rifle of the military War films about ww2, korea, and Vietnam appeal to the generations of my era just as the war of 1812, the civil war, and ww1 were the wars of my grand, and great grand parents...its difficult for me to relate to So because you were marketed to and not me is what im saying is bad advertising ...it should have been advert thur the AARP and network tv that caters to senior citizens that have shows like bonanza, Dolby gillis, and Beverly hillbillies... the old black and white tv shows from the 50s 60s and 70s..... you know old people tv, the people that have a personal connection to ww2. The vast majority of this films viewers will be over the age of 40 not 15 and under, and 40 over just dont go to that much big screen movies any more....some do, but the vast majority are under the age of 25
Cillian Murphy is going to become a huge star because of Christopher Nolan.

Honestly, I would LOVE to see Chris directing and Cillian being protagonist with Tom Hardy. Those 2 together with Chris Nolan would be INCREDIBLE!
Thomas fockin Shelby

"Our history" Cillian is Irish not British. Your history not our history
Irish boats went over to Dunkirk. There were thousands of Irish who fought and died to defeat the Nazis.
@Luke ireland remained neutral during the war i think.

Prop
Prop Paper ok
You really seem like an obnoxious ass.
Prop Paper so because you just heard of it it’s badly advertised? I’m not even half your age and I’ve been hyped for this movie for months
Jennithy Wong ... why do you think that about me, its an honest opinion of why i think the movie is in the wrong venue for distribution to the masses
