Pity this ended in violence. was a good initiative and i feel we shouldn't cancel the concept, but up the security and minimise pple on stage. Sting 03 when Ninjaman got kicked down by Vybz the problem was with the people on stage. Sting 08 was probably more volatile because there was gunshot coming from the crowd. but because they had a barricade of cops on stage, Mavado and Vybz couldn't get into a fist fight. some of the older Sting stories are crazy. Ninjaman v SuperCat there were reports of deaths in the crowd because of a riot that started when one of the artists pulled out too early. they had to wait 10min for crowd to cool down. Not sure why this time Calaz was made to come off the stage. there were moderators that could have simply made the announcement and have them come off in an orderly manner. if you look closely, Jah Love was manhandled as was Calaz. the crowd on stage messed up the flow. But for the purposes of settling the dispute as to who is the bigger artist, this show settled th matter. Calaz akapihwa twunu twake. by 7:15 the crowd had decided. ma can aikandirwa iye ka aya..9:15 when Jah Love returns after first round of fracas the place settles . its clear now kuti Bigman number 1, Jah Love Number 2, hapana Number 3, hapana no 4, hapana number 5...hapana... batai mwana uyo!
