This is so great. I have never seen such a clear and to the point youtube video explanation on stock market financials. Kudos to your effort. Love from Indo-Canadian :)
Perfectly explained! Nobody can explain better than this. I struggled to find perfect video on PB ratio and finally got this one. Thanks a lot Asset Yogi
Excellent work. You have the art of simplifying the complicated and presenting what really needs to be understood. With simple maths and live examples.
Great Job Malik Saab. You made my Day. Thankyou so much. This series made me to actually understand formulas without Route learning. Kindly made video on *Yield to Maturity*. Love from Pakistan.
Very good explanation sir. I would request to provide the series of bank company analysis. As bank companies are different from other industries. Thank you for your effort.
Very nicely explained. I observed that some small cap company have very high pb ratio means share price is under valued. Means there is scope to go up the price.
Mukulji thanks for such a good idea sharing in investment. I have some questions on p/b retio if it is bellow 1 then the stock is good to buy or to sell?
As you said the B.V. is lowered in asset-light businesses which means if we are taking reliance as a whole to compare the peers then it is okay because Jio is a service provider and not a heavy asset firm, can we still take a look at or really need to segregate the Jio from Reliance for the comparison??
Very nice video n making sense that share market is ocean. Overall on which things to focus while picking up share to buy? Plz sir make video on it to make sum up /average of all.
Yogi Ji , Thank you for excellent explanation. Now with a PB ratio of more than 2 for Reliance - should we buy at this price or should we be waiting for its PB ratio to come near 1?
Now days P/B ration of oil companies like iocl reduce below 1.means market value reduce below the book value. Can we consider that stock to buy?(muje lagta hai rs 100 ki chiz 80 me mil rahi hai)
Nice one.......fantastic explained.. Please sir, I have one request to make video on L&T with growth effect of groups company ( LTI and LTTL).....I want to understand that.....if LTI and LTTL growing fast in future so what kind of effect do on promoter company L&T.....please sir
Sir how do you divide the net value of company by numbers of shares in the market where as we know that ideally the ranges of non promoter shares be in range of 30 to 40 percent only. same doubt in P/E ratio. Thank you.
P/B ratio is particularly useful for value investors, who are always on the hunt for low price stocks that the market has neglected. If P/B is less than one, it normally tells investors that either the market believes the asset value is overstated, or the company is faring very badly in terms of returns on its assets
Sir you told PE is often Low in Asset high industries and at last you are saying get aware ki Kya kharabhi hai ki market value Book Value se bhi neeche aajaye... I think some info mixed or wrong...
good morning sir , sir you told how to culculate p/b ratio , but you don't tell which no should take p/b ratio for buying a stk.kindly give your feed back . sanjoy Paul .
ager company jis ke book value high hu but market value less hu aur wo compnay apna bussiness end kr dy tu kia share holder ko book value k hasaab sy payment mily ge ya market value sy?
Sir I have a doubt please clear if we found net assets so we do tangible assets minus liabilities. So it is totall liability of the company or only outside liability beacuse liability are from inner or outside so what liability we minus outside or totally

Tks for covering "When is P/B ratio useful?" question. It was helpful.
P/B ratio is particularly useful for value investors, who are always on the hunt for low price stocks that the market has neglected. If P/B is less than one, it normally tells investors that either the market believes the asset value is overstated, or the company is faring very badly in terms of returns on its assets
