- www.technobiography.com Here is a demonstration of the BPI Real-time Deposit ATMs. Many people have asked me whether they can do a real-time deposit WITHOUT an ATM. Answer: If the machine says so, then you can. It actually depends on whether the ATM is equipped to do the transaction.
In this video, I show you a machine that accepts real-time deposit WITHOUT ATM. The money will be credited to the account instantly.
NOTE: You need TWO pieces of information
(1) 10 digit Card Number
(2) 2-digit JAI - Joint Account Indicator

It happened that I need to fund my checking account immediately but it took me roving to six BPI cash deposit machines in QC Caloocan and Manila to realize that they all don't work. All at the same time offline, so I sadly had to let my check bounce then. ok sana ung ganitong 24/7 banking kaso hindi na ito nagwowork ngaun. Sira na ung mga machines ng BPI or maybe iphaphase out na nila, i don't know. Nakakainis. Kung kailan mo kailangan, wala naman plang silbi.

Hi Edwin. May I ask, what would be the possible problem if my friend cannot deposit to my account. He actually go through with these steps:
WITHOUT ATM CARD
1. Select Cardless Deposits.
2. Select desired language.
3. Select bank and account type. [My Bank is BPI DIRECT and I gave him my 16 digits acct no.]
4. Enter 10-digit Card Number.
5. Enter 2-digit Joint Account Indicator (JAI).
6. Insert Cash (P1,000, P500, P100)
7. Press Add Cash, Deposit and Return

What was the error or the notification?
I made this mistake before: When I was at number 7 above, I pressed "Add Cash" -- this action gives the depositor a chance to add cash -- akala ko one time it meant "add cash to the bank account".
If you want the cash to be deposited, the correct action is "Deposit" .

Luma na ito, the new card doesnt show the JAI indicator anymore. BPI's own website requires the account number, not the card number.

Yes - some accept cardless, some don't.

Join account indicator is only for those depositor who had a join account ( ex: husband and wife) you can find it at the lower right bottom of the card.
ang problem lng sa ganyan atm ng bpi na kapag lumang pera(hindi malutong/malambot yun pera) hindi tama ang basa ng atm. pero yun pera nasa loob na ng atm machine hindi na pwede ilabas ulit hehehe

Kailangan pa din po ba ng JAI digits pag manual? Online merchants kasi di nila include ung JAI digits nila.
