@@hulala5253 the point is that this is not considered bad sportmanship in Brazil. Bear in mind this is a country that only cares about football and volley and brazilians believe a powerful crowd is just as important as a skilled player to win a match, - they also want to feel a part of it, for theatrics. This is just like the vuvuzelas all over again and I assure you most third world country crowds would act alike.

I agree that the booing is unnecessary and can mess with the athletes, I'm Brazilian and I never liked how much our crowds take these sporting events to heart, there's so much fighting and nastiness even on our national championships/cups, it's embarrassing.

Can’t y’all understand that in Brazil booing the other team is not seen as disrespectful? This is their country with their people watching the game, so unless you wanna explain to every one of them that in YOUR culture is disrespectful, nothing’s gonna change. Open your eyes, not everything is ruled by YOUR/global mentality in different countries. Also before judging and being disrespectful, the “exact” thing you were complaining about, you might’ve actually learned that this comes from the soccer stadium environment, which is basically the only one Brazilians actually know.
