This band gave me the craziest chills throughout my body, I was brought back to when I first started listening to metal when I was 13 and the adrenaline and excitement I felt was fucking awesome. Going into my adulthood, I lost that feeling and there wasn’t any new bands that made me excited anymore so I’ve been stagnant. I’m 29 now and this band revived that excitement and ignited that adrenaline rush I’ve been craving for soooo long, thank you 🙏🏽
Knosis and now Prompts love this new experimental Metal core scene coming from Japan. Reminds me of how Thall came out of nowhere and blew up. Also the vocalist is a good looking dude. They're for sure gonna blow up this year.
Have you seen the video of them performing Black Pill live? PK in all white with faded pink hair and what looks like the remnants of pig tails is a sight to behold. Man looks like he stepped out of a k-pop group… that is until he opens his mouth and the demon noises come out 😂
What I love about Prompts is how their metalcore crosses into deathcore (or mathcore or w/e) on the one side, whilst incorporating more classic hardcore elements on the other side. I love it, it's exactly down my road, have been digging them for 2-3 months straight now. Metalcore is sometimes very smooth and can get a little boring (don't get me wrong, I'm a simple person when it comes to rhythms and breakdowns but it's still true) so I like how theirs is slightly harder and more technical and I just love hardcore for it's rough-and-ready tone. So yeah, it has been ages since I was excited for a band's new releases, but I've been counting the days for this one. It's great! I really hope too see them live in Europe one day ❤🥹

This has a lot of leviathan (by crossfaith) vibes with the heavy, then a breakdown and a chill part till the end of the song. Definitely still one of my favorite releases this year now at the end of may
