Indeed. It's sad it didn't make it to the west but then again, it's one of those games that are too Japanese, you know? Still, those backgrounds are beautiful. I'll make a second video on ripping them without the characters to be used as wallpapers.
Every screen has a morning/afternoon/night version. I mean, someone has to do it. They look too beautiful to not be made into wallpapers. I hope they turn out alright!
You post the most chill, relaxing videos. I love it. Granted I have usually not heard of the game before, but the ones you pick always seem interesting. This one looks like something right up my alley - guess I should learn some Japanese...
It's an amazing game. Sadly this one really requires some decent Japanese at least. There isn't a lot of talking but the little it's got makes one hell of a difference. Still, even if you get this just to collect bugs, explore and swim, it's worth the chill. Thank you for stopping by, Nickle!
It fits that game like a glove. Yes, you press X to run and control with left and right. Circle is used to talk/investigate and that's pretty much it. I don't do it in this video, but you can investigate pretty much everything. Most things just have a line or two describing it.
Such a beautiful game, pre-rendered backgrounds is probably my favorite kind of graphics. It sucks there never was an english version...

Outstanding idea, OGB!

One of the most artistically pleasing game series I've ever scene
The game aged surprisingly well, it helps that the pre rendered backgrounds and the 3d models fit so well.
Its so strange to see pre-rendered backgrounds while controlling a ps2 character with what seems like resident evil camera angles
It is kinda weird but you get used to it after a while. After the first hour or so you'll eventually stop being worried about jump scares.
Thank You
Is there any 3ds game like this?
"Attack of the friday monsters" is made by the same person so that's the closest you'll get
A sequel to the PS1….. shame it never came here…
Gymnopedie strikes again!
EDIT: I'm guessing this game controls like Resident Evil? It would work great as a PC point and click, too.
