The lyrics are both in the human Common tongue (”An kharanir, mok gorum..)and Thalassian (”isa tharano, dar’adore..”). I think because it’s something of a funeral dirge and the humans of Lordaeron and the High Elves of Quel’thalas were once close allies, especially in their shared faith in the Light.
Hallowfall music is amazing. It's a zone theme, not a personal theme like Anduin or Jaina's, so it's about the atmosphere rather than the individual. I find myself appreciating art in WoW more when I'm not trying to hold onto nostalgia and constantly comparing everything new to the old stuff we used to have. You can enjoy both.

Hallowfall is decent, but fairly generic fantasy music.
Tbh, every expansion had great music (WOD being top tier), and TWW is great if you take into account that these are AMBIANT songs, not theme songs.
