Dallas speaks of "miserable sinner Christianity." It seems that if one's perspective is in that vein of thought, he would not be able to approach anyone on the notion that he may have a redeeming Christian influence on such an individual. One pastor said that a person who comes to him with remorse on his spiritual fallenness to which the pastor replies, "Cheer up. You are a more wicked sinner than you realize."
There never was a man like Dallas Willard. A latter day saint. I hope to see him soon. I pray so anyway.
